Carmen Franco Hip holds a Master's degree in Institutional Translation (Spanish and English) by the Universidad de Alicante and is a Licentiate in Translation and Interpretation (Spanish, English and French) by the Universidad Ricardo Palma (URP). She has been a grant holder of the 5th International Managerial Excellence Training Program of the United Nations Development Program. In addition, she is a member of the Peruvian Professional Translators Association and consultant in charge of coordinating the implementation of the Head Office of Translation and Interpretation in Indigenous or Native Languages of the Ministry of Culture. Currently, she is a faculty member at the URP and Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC).
