Beschreibung

This is my first collection of short stories, just to give you and idea of my writing style. There's everything I like to read in here, from SciFi to mystery and horror. It was my intention to create a collection that would interest me if I was looking for something to pass a couple of hours with.

Hope you enjoy them.

Part1

Arbet was trying to get nearer to the front of the throng. As he slowly pushed his way forward to get a better view he was careful to keep watch on his mother, up to now he had been lucky as she and his brothers and sisters were all looking up, enthralled by the coming of The Messengers of the Gods, they hadn’t noticed his gradual movement and he knew now that if he could just get a little further he would be able to get past the big miners on the edges of the crowd and from there, to the front!

The coming of the Messengers had always fascinated Arbet and he didn’t see why, as mere processors, he and his siblings should be always near the back of the crowd.

“The work we do is very important” his mother had always told them, so as far as he could see they were entitled to as good a view as the miners or transporters or any other part of the company. Well, he was going to get to the front whatever it took!

Reaching the edge of the crowd he could see how it swept down towards the base of the Dias. This was where he wanted to be and, stealing a glimpse back towards his mother and siblings, he was certain they couldn’t see him now, so he made off towards his goal.
