READ: Proverbs 4: 20-end
TEXT:
“My son, give me your heart and let your eyes observe my ways." (Proverbs 23:26)
RHEMA:
How will you feel when you wake up one morning and your father called you and said: “My son, give me your heart?” Such a request will be treated with deep concern. Why? It may be sometime he would talk to you in that way and once obliged to desire what he has to say next time.
Every good father desires the life of his or child. When a son gives his heart to his father, he could be easily influenced or affected by the father’s character.
God is our creator and our father. Above every good plan he has for us He wants the best for us. You know a wise father can never will an expensive property to a prodigal child.
God requires a major offering from today. He wants your heart.
Proverbs 3:24 “My son guide your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life.”
Give your heart to the will of God. You know God’s mind by his word. When you give your heart you deliver it from the influence and manipulation of the devil; you can quench the voice of suicide and depression; you become empowered to be a focus on God’s will and ways.
