Empty Shells

    Just because I see a faint light following me.

moments of waunderlust provide for rousing entertainment.

Birds gliding across a chaotic sky

seek the peace of a stable home.

Star=crossed lovers cry out loud.

Early morning coffee filling an empty soul anew.

Destiny calls?

Reality becomes a figment of my charred imagination?

Golden silence overtakes another lost boy.

Perhaps..

Lost in Kansas

     As the world turns.

The sunflower state becoming

an oasis within a vast wasteland.

People cry.

People try.

Sentimental fellows flow to a different beat.

Paper moons become somewhat normal

to the status quo.

Where's the beef?

A Step Above

    Questioning the nature of the surreal

While i simply exist.

Inward thoughts become so much

To manage on my own.

Shades of grey dot the landscape now.

I pull moments of clarity from the fire;

Eager beavers sense my final demise.

Eyes are closed.

Snoring begins.

A many splendored journey readies for

Liftoff.

Cracked Mirror Straight

    Sensing a shift in the force;

Moments of clarity abound.

A sense of reflection;

A sense of being.

Hunger pains rising to the surface.

Pieces of a dream fall out of

A sunny sky.

Notions of romance.

Reality being a figment of my soul.

Manic episodes seeming less frequent now.

Medications help;Perhaps?

Time for tea.
