The title of this collection is a confession: love is at the centre of authorial poetry. A love that becomes search; search with an ethereal and impalpable flavour, a search for oneself and the other. Through the verses – which shape sensations –, a kind of "clean" love is painted, free from unnecessary and harmful fictions and superstructures. Love poems has a delicate and suffused lyricism, the verses accompany us on a journey of the soul. The face of the loved one blends in with the surrounding nature, becoming a perfume, the petals of a flower.

The suggestion of words, which impart – like a film – images, sounds and colours, is important and ever present
Lights and shadows draw profiles of familiar shapes, we understand the value of waiting for the loved one, who seems to proceed with an uncertain step towards what could be an impervious path.
This is a concept that returns within the poetic dialectic of the author: the steepness of a path as a metaphor of the laborious incidence of life that places obstacles before us, like stones on which to stumble.
But it is precisely love that provides the lever for avoiding and overcoming those stones, without falling ruinously to the ground.
Another strong theme is – we said – that of waiting for the loved one, never heartbreaking or distressing, but always optimistic and bearer of a message of hope, of rebirth:
"I give you an ear of wheat to harvest, grown from a seed spread by the wind".
Love is recounted without trappings, a love in which we are bared, stripped of the superfluous like an overly uncomfortable and heavy dress that prevents the fluidity of movements.
Love poems has a delicate and suffused lyricism, the verses accompany us on a journey of the soul. The face of the loved one blends in with the surrounding nature, becoming a perfume, the petals of a flower.
But there are also the notes of passion, which merge to form a warm and sensual melody in which we lose ourselves, as in a midsummer dream.
The whole physiognomy of the loved one becomes desire, a sigh: you are wind, you are flower, you are water, you are music, you are sand.
Love poems is a game between lovers made of sudden desires, of search and happiness, of melancholy and hope.
A game in which carnal sensuality manages to balance itself with the candour of sentiment in a perfect way, just like the chiaroscuros of a skilled painter who composes perfect and vivid pictures.
To You
love,
goddess of the universe,
who with your perfume
inebriates the stars.
I seek you among the
clouds of a darkened
sky.
I see you on a
carriage drawn
by winged horses.
You are the constellation
I admire from an
enchanted forest.
You are a balloon
for flying
among the stars.
My heart thunders,
conceals fragility
seeks Love.
I seek you
I seek balloons
for flying,
having you close
among the stars.
Light expands
your life,
and I look at you
in infinity.
Waiting for you
In the glow of lights
that draw
your face,
I look at sharp
profiles of brittle
rocks,
impervious paths
covered by your
uncertain steps.
I open my eyes
Among impervious paths
of steep mountains
cross the eyes.
of the sun and the moon
and you will fall in love.
