What is happening today is very surprising. Are people only interested in enriching themselves and oppressing others? There should be peaceful coexistence and not always just wars and other conflicts.

Foreword

Far be it from me to attack anyone here or to judge anyone. Rather, it is my view of things, as I interpret it below. It may well be that one or the other thinks that this is a radical view of things. But sometimes it seems to me that you bury your head in the sand. Not reacting will solve itself. I believe that this thread runs through the entire writing. As I said, this is not paternalism of anyone, but my opinion on various things at home and abroad.

Erdogan's defeat in the local elections

It seems to be shown again and again that governing without the people is not feasible.

This is what has become apparent after the elections in Turkey. At the beginning, this same president wanted to reunite the separation between church and state in the sense of an Islamic state. However, this attempt failed. It may be that he has moved a lot in his country at the beginning of his term in office, but what does it look like at the moment? The population has to deal with enormous inflation of a good 67 percent. This means, for example, that the citizen has to fight for his life day after day with such price increases. Even in the areas where there have only been earthquakes, people are turning away from him, because why there are so many buildings and infrastructure there still needs to be clarified. Only this is withheld from the citizen. Under such conditions, it is therefore not surprising that the incumbent presidents have been given a lesson. But it is always the case that individual people think they only have to enforce their own opinion and forget about the people. You can't ignore the mood of the population, because sooner or later, they will defend themselves. Whether this vote of the Turkish people will result in a rethink, however, is once again another matter.

Seven employees of the NGO World Central Kitchen killed

How far does the bloodlust go? People are killed who want to help others, even though the Israeli military has been told that this is a humanitarian transport. In addition, this convoy has also been designated accordingly.

People are committed to providing basic foodstuffs to the needy population and have to pay with their lives. Even if Israel propagates again and again to wipe out Hamas, this is an illusion, as history has shown us again and again. It's amazing that you can't sit down at a table and finally think about a 2-state solution after decades. The bloodlust of some of the participants in this conflict goes so far that it is not limited to the Gaza Strip, but also draws neighboring states into it. Is there really a conflagration to be ignited that can certainly spread to the rest of the world?

Do we need NATO (North Atlantic Defense Alliance)?

This alliance is being celebrated these days on the occasion of its 75th anniversary. The fact that there are more accessions is apparently inevitable due to the current situation. When this was completed at the time, the ulterior motive was to contrast the Warsaw Pact with a counterpart. This has certainly proven itself over years and decades, only the times have changed. In the meantime, some states have changed their minds. But the reasons for this are also understandable when you look at the various conflicts and wars. Just imagine that NATO, as it is today, did not exist. One can assume that the world order would look different then.

If there were still democracies that have proven themselves over thousands of years? At the moment, it looks as if this alliance is granting us peace, at least in the Member States. But if you can follow the sayings of a former president, the percentage, because the individual member states invest too little in defence. This person demands that individual states invest at least 2 percent in defense with the threat that they will not follow the obligation to provide assistance in an emergency. However, it is somewhat absurd that such sums should be made available, when there are much more important problems in the individual states, which also require more funds. Now, however, NATO cannot unilaterally reduce its defense budget if at the same time an aggressor, like

Putin, increases his spending on the military. How far do you go?

New president in Slovakia

After the run-off election, Peter Pellegrini was elected President of Slovakia. But what will change in this country? On the one hand, he is a favorite of the ruling party, and on the other hand, he leaves no doubt that he supports Russia and its actions. In addition, he does not want to send weapons to Ukraine. How should one see this in the EU? In Poland, for example, a party was voted out of office that came too close to the aggressor Putin and now there is again a party and a president who do not exactly deny Russia's actions. Is there perhaps another alliance in the Union that does not exactly condemn Russia's war of aggression? There is already a president in the EU who believes that he can always prevent a lot out of consideration for the friendly state of Russia. But this Union is already a bit sluggish when you think of legislative proposals and their implementation. There is now also a country where one can assume that they will prevent some things through their veto. It is only the case, if you look at the geographical location of this state, that it is also a neighboring state of Ukraine. If Putin really achieves his goals in Ukraine, it can be assumed that he will also attack other states. The attitude of the rulers in Slovakia is probably of little help, because as hoped, this despot in Russia has said something that has caused exactly the opposite. It's true, the vote of the sovereign is to be accepted, even if this is not recognized by all incumbents, see the USA.

Floods in Russia

Snowmelt and large amounts of rain caused flooding in Russia. Now you could say that this is a natural disaster, which is true. The
