Every day, events happen that can be seen from a different perspective. Here I try to document such views. Whether you can agree with them or not is up to you.

Far be it from me to attack anyone here or to judge anyone. Rather, it is my view of things, as I interpret it below. It may well be that one or the other thinks that this is a radical view of things. But sometimes it seems to me that you bury your head in the sand. Not reacting will solve itself. I believe that this thread runs through the entire writing. As I said, this is not paternalism of anyone, but my opinion on various things at home and abroad.
If you look at the last international elections, you can already see that extreme changes are taking place. There are tendencies towards the left and right, for example, which sooner or later lead to dictatorships. There is another kind of state leadership in Iran, for example, where it is believed that the clergy and the judiciary can be united, but that will probably not lead to the goal. It may be that democracy also has its negative sides, but this form of government has existed for thousands of years and has of course grown, even if the thesis that power comes from the people is currently set aside. We have seen again and again in history that such extreme forms of government, such as theocracies or dictatorships, could only survive for a short period of time. Such changes are already being tackled with demonstrations and low voter turnout, and those in power are ignoring these facts. There are probably more important problems on these planets that need to be solved than concentrating again and again on extreme directions, for example when you think of global warming. As mentioned, democracy is certainly also susceptible to extremes, but it has also grown over decades, which cannot be said of other directions, because old thinking is always pulled out of the drawer without regard for one's own population.
This state credits itself with being the guardian of democracy, and what conclusion does the Supreme Court come to? Is a former president immune to decisions that could harm the country? Donald Trump is not above the law either, even if he sees it differently. As President of America, he should abide by the law just like any other citizen and thus fulfill his responsibility towards the citizen. If the current president also speaks harshly for this decision, this is completely understandable. A president should act in the interests of the citizen and not think about his power. Let's go in a direction worldwide that tries to undermine democracy. This starts with public media, as seen in Slovakia, and then continues to the independent judiciary. This path is likely to go in the direction where democracy is to be abolished. What comes next?
The holiday season has started again and the individual citizen also wants to enjoy this holiday and usually uses the neighbouring countries, whether he is travelling by car, train or plane, plays only a secondary role. But to what extent does he think about our climate? If you then also read the statistics, you can see that both the motor vehicle and the airplane contribute very little to reducing global warming. If you then think of the car, it is questionable whether you can achieve the desired relaxation and peace with it, for example, if you are stuck in a traffic jam for hours. If you look at the railway, you would also have to look at the infrastructure of this means of transport, because there is a lot of catching up to do when it comes to the expansion of routes and destinations. In competition with this, of course, are the flight connections, which are also a lot cheaper than the train. Only this area is also supported in terms of taxes on fuel, for example, and can therefore also be cheaper. One should assume that the individual citizen, with his need for vacation and relaxation, is also aware of his responsibility towards the global climate. But as far as the expansion of the railway is concerned, politicians are certainly called upon to create a balance between car, train and plane, because future generations want to be able to enjoy their holidays.
It is probably undisputed that the Chinese economy, and especially the car industry, is massively promoted and supported. But what is the West doing to support its own industry? Enormously high protective tariffs on Chinese products are being discussed instead of addressing the problem from the ground up. It is precisely the consumer who has to shell out such tariffs and probably not the politicians who propose such tariffs. It may well be that China is overshooting the mark by massively promoting this sector of export, but haven't we in the West slept through a lot? To impose penalties in the form of tariffs on these imports now misses the point. Has there been something overslept on the part of politicians in recent years and decades? It is true that domestic production must be protected from such "dumping prices", but whether such measures will also lead to the goal is another question. The victim is always the citizen or consumer, who of course has to reconcile this with his budget. Whether this now includes subsidies for the domestic economy and industry must be decided by the government. It is also clear that if such tariffs really do happen, it will not exactly suit the economies, because purchasing power will be massively disrupted, which in turn will fuel inflation.
How often have governments made a pilgrimage to Ukraine and Russia on a peacekeeping mission since the war of aggression? Only there it should be a little different. The previous visits always had the common idea of peace on this planet. Whether this is also the premise of the current council chairman is questionable. As we know Orbán, he only has national concerns, only he wants to demonstrate that it would be a peace mission. But since peace negotiations have never come from such visits, it is also certain. Therefore, one should be able to assume that such visits are hopeless. Viktor Orbán only has his national and economic relations in mind and hardly cares about peace. But it is also the case that the previous efforts on the part of the West have hardly borne fruit. As long as an aggressor named Putin is still in power, such trips are unlikely to be rewarded with success. It's just that all the sanctions packages have hardly achieved anything, only that the Russian population is suffering for this armed conflict. It is certainly not only about the tens of thousands of deaths that such a war has produced, but also that a large part of the economic output of this state flows into the arms industry and is forgotten about the infrastructure. How long the Russian population will continue to watch is questionable. It may well be that this course can be continued over a certain period of time with restrictions on freedom of the press and loyal allegiance, but for how long? We have seen this many times in history and it is again drilled by a single person just to demonstrate his own power. However, this has an expiration period that begins with the end of the allegiance of the army and executive.
It's interesting how far the pollsters were off the mark in the election in France. But it is also remarkable that a coalition that has only recently come together won the victory. You
