It may well be that the development of such drones will continue and that efficiency will be increased as a result. But if you really have to use such a technology in war, there are much more useful areas of application for such techniques. On the one hand, you certainly save soldiers, but what about the accuracy of such drones? What we have heard so far is that the civilian population has suffered massively as a result, instead of hitting facilities that are relevant in war. The development of such aids should be applied to other areas, because there they will be much more efficient than in armed conflicts, if one thinks of the increasing natural disasters, for example. Apparently, however, when an innovation is made, people always think about how it could be used against other people, before perhaps thinking about the civilian sector.
