It is remarkable that domestic advertising is also dedicated to the election campaign. This election campaign is presented as a Punch and Judy show. Is that also the case? One could almost think that this reflects the mood of the population. In politics, one discusses regulations and laws at length and thus only delays everything. The individual voter expects facts from the government and not quarrels. If you then appear on the scene with an enormous amount of election candy before a vote, that is already questionable. After all, it is used to juggle taxes that this citizen has already paid and are awarded privately before elections. Whether such sweets will then be implemented after the election is usually not true. However, such actions must be financed by individual citizens. If you then look at the disenchantment with politics among the population, you can't exactly deny it. But what effects this will have on the party landscape can be clearly seen after the last elections in Germany. Left-wing and right-wing movements have enormous popularity, which does not exactly benefit a democracy. However, such parties must first prove that their striking slogans are followed by deeds. Whether this is true may be doubted. As soon as such currents really have the say, they will proceed in the same way as the established parties.
