Characters in the play:

ESTHEL, a 27 years old woman; profession - though never mentioned in official documents - whore, or rather, as she describes herself: "I'm a model. But, you know, there is so little certainty nowadays, everybody is a model, that I thought of doing something else on the side, you know..."

ALBERTO, a 30 years old man, profession: accountant, or - as he defines it - "...taking a small share from people who didn't do well on arithmetic in the high school".

VOICE OF MAN IN THE BOX: a low register, rough voice.

POLICEMAN

* Written to be played by a man & a woman, the male playing three roles, an audio only one (VOICE OF MAN IN THE BOX), and two apparition roles: ALBERTO and POLICEMAN, merely distinguishable from each other through uniform and style.

* To create the background sound a suggestion would be to record live for two hours the traffic sound and other street noises and play the tape before, during and after the end of the show; the idea is that the street remains alive regardless of any humanly colored events and even after "a drama" ends.
