Paine advocates reason in the place of revelation, leading him to reject miracles and to view the Bible as an ordinary piece of literature rather than as a divinely inspired text. The Age of Reason is not atheistic, but deistic: it promotes natural religion and argues for a creator-God.

“Houses for 1 Euro” is a great program available in

many Italian cities. Let’s study it closely.

Keep in mind that this is not the only way to buy

real estate in Italy and we will tell you about itin the

end of our book (extra chapter).

So, let’s explore.

Start by choosing a house and taking part in the

auction.

The sales of such houses come in two types:

1) The municipality sells its housing;

2) The municipality sells other owners’ housing,

who can’t pay taxes and want to get rid of the

second house. In Italy, if you own 2 houses – you

must pay high taxes.

Attention!As long as you register your real estate –

you will have to obtain an Italian identification

number: Codice fiscale (Italian).

(You can obtain it in the Italian consulate in your

country). This information is also often requested

when you apply to buy a house for 1 euro.

“House for 1 Euro” program has been known for a long

time. New Italian cities join it by offering different

variants of houses for sale. As a rule, such houses areneed repair.

every 3 months from the moment of starting a

“Houses for 1 Euro” program. Also due to the high

volume of applications, these deadlines may be

extended.

2. When you decided what city to choose (having

examined its infrastructure, capabilities and

potential) – you can determine the dates of

participation in the auctions. Download and

translate a special program for taking part in such

an auction from the official website of the

municipality. Looking through the program – focus

your attention, that some municipalities can add

special points to the price. These points determine

who gets the house.

For example:

- If you want to renovate the house in less than 3 years – you get

extra points;

- If it is your first real estate (In Italy those, who don’t

have a second house and register a real estate as a

place of living, have reduced taxes) – you also get extra

points;

- If you recruit local workers – you get extra points;

Important!The municipality programs do not

obligate you to recruit local workers, but they can

give you extra points if you plan to do it.

Important!In the programs of several cities, there

can be obligations to pay the taxes (debts) of the

former owner. Read the programs carefully and

don't pay a lot of money for such lots. Also, there

can be tax debts from the former owner.

Important!In the programs of several cities, there

can be a minimum sum that you must spend to

renovate your house. But you can choose such cities

without this obligation.
