The year 2022 was certainly one of the most eventful. The comments I have made are only my own and may give food for thought.

Far be it from me to attack anyone here or to judge anyone. Rather, it is my view of things, as I interpret it below. It may well be that one or the other thinks that would be a radical view of things. But sometimes it seems to me that you stick your head in the sand. Don't react, it will resolve itself. I believe this thread runs through the whole writing. As I said, this is not patronizing anyone, but my opinion on various things at home and abroad.
If there is traffic collapse again in the morning because various groups of climate activists are demonstrating, that is probably the only way to show something against global warming and for climate protection. Politicians don't seem to be touching on this issue around the world, but environmental disasters aren't getting any less either. If the government doesn't do anything about it, science and industry should be able to set things in motion. But there are also those in power who burn vast amounts of valuable energy so that they can maintain the price or want to put pressure on the West. I can't really understand that anymore. Environmental disasters are getting worse and nothing is being done about them. How long do you want to wait there? I can only agree with the most environmental activists when they take to the streets and demonstrate, because ultimately, we also have a certain responsibility for future generations.
If you find out that sabotage attacks were made on both pipelines, the question naturally arises as to who is responsible. I just think that the question is secondary, because it is much more important that the sea is now also being contaminated with such a leak. A vast amount of greenhouse gases is already being blown into the air by the warring state, and the lines have to be destroyed as well. It is not absolutely important to know who is responsible for such attacks, but rather one should devote more time to securing vulnerable infrastructure. Because no matter who carries out such attacks, he harms himself the most, because hardly any gas came out of the said pipelines anyway.
Years ago, a new invention was declared innovative and, above all, promoted, called "Bitcoins". A lot of people immediately jumped at it without thinking too long about who would benefit from it and how big the burden on the environment is. Because the creation of such virtual currencies consumes an enormous amount of electricity all over the world. So where is the benefit for humanity? I do believe that some have benefited at the expense of the environment. The electricity that is consumed there could be used much better for the population instead of just favoring a few.
When three representatives from Serbia, Hungary and Austria met yesterday to discuss refugee policy, it may have been with good intentions. But it also means that the asylum policy of the EU (EUROPEAN UNION) has failed, which I can only agree with. The distribution of migrants within the Union has been discussed for years, but to this day no agreement can be reached. The taxpayers in the European Union are only allowed to support these people with their hard-earned money. When you think about more controls and more staff at the borders yesterday, I wonder how this can be done. As Austria, we have tens of thousands of kilometers of borders with these countries, where no one can tell me that they can be controlled. When will there finally be a rethink in the Union as far as support for such people is concerned? In addition, there is also a senseless movement of the official apparatus with asylum procedures and that for years. So far, the mood regarding migration in the EU (EUROPEAN UNION) is still positive, but for how long? I can imagine that the population will rebel if they feel bad because of such support. I just hope that our politicians are aware that delaying decisions in this way only leads to internal crises.
How often has history shown us that politics and faith cannot work in a state, but some or some still believe in it. You shouldn't necessarily look for culprits abroad, but rather check whether both efforts are in harmony. If you then also use "moral guards" to exercise certain clothing regulations, then that is completely incomprehensible to me. To this day it has been proven time and again that the separation between state and religion makes sense, but there are always people who believe they can prevent it. We had already seen extreme scenarios, such as a “holy war” to enforce such a religious state. But this attempt also failed. Maybe there will be a rethink in the future, because then the international community would also refrain from sanctions, which would of course benefit the respective population. I just don't really believe in it.
As early as 2013, a report of abuse against students in a school was filed with the responsible authority and there was almost no reaction. Yes, it was probably followed at the time, but that was about it. Now there are more suspected cases and the public prosecutor's office has stopped investigating because, according to them, there is not enough evidence. When I get into the minds of the victims, it's clear to me that they don't easily understand what happens to them in such attacks. I just think that if the parents don't have access to the young people, there should be suitable places in our system that have to build a basis of trust with these victims. But where are they? The damage that is done to young people stays with these people for the rest of their lives. Is that necessary?
When OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Producing Nations) thinks loudly about reducing production, then I ask myself, where is the responsibility towards society? Such measures increase the prices for each barrel on the exchange and once again the end customer has to pay for it. If these countries haven't already made enough money from the sale of this energy, do we have to pour "oil" on the fire with a reduction? Where is the responsibility towards society, which has to put up with rapidly increasing inflation?
