My Journey as a Writer Just Started

I love writing about life, self-help, fiction, and thriller. I have a lot more to offer you than reading. My struggle, pain, happiness, sorrow, and emotions are expressed in my writing. My characters remain alive with me so that I can feel what they are going through.

A young girl Rani was snatched from her home to be thrown into a bawdy house. Her innocence and vulnerability could not make her see the reality until this day.

Yellow Flowers - Hope

Spring in Kolkata always reminded Rani of her childhood days in her orphanage. She used to play around the tree which bore yellow flowers. The day would pass by just picking up the flowers from the ground and throwing them around. The gambol would continue until she would hear the bell for lunch. At times, she would just sit and watch the tree. The wrinkled trunk and the intertwined branches looked like a monster. But she used to like this monster. It was her only companion in her empty life as a child; a life she had never asked for rather was thrust upon her. There were so many whys and hows she had to deal with in her mind. But, all that was over now. Although the new ordeal had left her scarred and speechless, the self-incrimination has stopped.

Her new home has given her new hope along with a new name. She could not ask for more from Ramiz. He was her Saviour and her only reason for survival. She had seen darker days and she had waited for brighter days. Finally, she could breathe freely and wait every last Thursday of the month for Ramiz to come. Today was no exception. She was wearing the pink saree Ramiz had got her last year. That was the first genuine gift she had gotten from someone in her entire life. Although she had received many gifts from Ma (mother) after she had left the orphanage, those meant nothing more than rubbing salt into her wounds.
