About the hypercar:
The Danish Zenvo ST1 is a high performance hypercar featuring a supercharged AND turbocharged 1100bhp V8. Initially developed in 2005, the ST1 was finally introduced for sale in 2009. This hand built hypercar features lightweight carbon fibre bodywork and quality interior with leather racing seats. Performance is unsuprisingly rapid, with a sub 3 second 0-60 mph and 233 mph top speed.
Reviews have been mixed (best not to mention the two well publicised incidents of bursting into flames) but there is no doubting that the Zenvo has enormous road presence. Each of the planned production run of 15 will cost a hefty but not unreasonable £660,000.

DAIQUIRI
The original daiquiri is an extremely simple recipe that requires just three common ingredients. It is also one of the freshest drinks you can make and an essential rum cocktail everyone should know and taste.
“A Daiquiri is a perfectly simple cocktail with no gimmicks. It is the holy trinity: rum, lime, and sugar,” says Ray Sakover, head bartender at The Polynesian in New York.
Let´s make a Daiquiri

50ml white rum
25ml lime juice
10ml sugar syrup

Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and strain into a cocktail glass.
Daiquiri variations
“Strawberry daiquiri” This cocktail should only be attempted with fruit that’s ripe and sweet. Place them in the empty shaker and give them a gentle crush with a muddler or pestle, then add the other ingredients and shake as normal and strain into your cocktail glass. Out of season, you could also make a version of this drink using Funkin strawberry puree, which will be almost as good.
“La terraza´s blue daiquiri” is made with blue curaçao, so it’s the color of a lagoon. You can make one too, simply by substituting 15ml Bols Blue curaçao in a normal daiquiri in place of the sugar syrup. A delicious guilty pleasure on a summer’s day, especially with a cocktail umbrella.
