Following on from their earlier equally ballistic C1000 one off, Lotec have produced one of the most powerful road cars of all time. Now with up to 1200 bhp and 811 lbft of torque from the Mercedes sourced twin-turbo V12 (same as used in the SL65 AMG), Lotec claims a Bugatti matching 248 mph and 0-200 mph in a shattering 7.8 seconds.
Just 5 of these carbon fibre leviathans will be produced per year at an eye watering £380,000. A lot of money perhaps, however it all but matches the Veyron for less than half the price.

Tequila Sunrise
Although an earlier version of the Tequila Sunrise made an appearance at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in the 1930s, the modern version was created in the 1970s at The Trident in Sausalito, California.
The Rolling Stones, while on tour in 1972, helped popularize the current Tequila Sunrise recipe. Thanks to either an eye for art or someone’s forgetfulness, combining the ingredients without mixing creates a color gradient, resembling a beautiful sunrise - hence, its widely recognized name.
Let´s make a Tequila Sunrise
Ingredients
2 tsp grenadine
ice
50ml tequila
1 tbsp triple sec
1 large orange, or 2 small ones, juiced.
1/2 lemon, juiced.
1 cocktail cherry
Directions
STEP 1
Pour the grenadine into the base of a tall glass and set aside. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the tequila, triple sec and fruit juices. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
STEP 2
Add a few ice cubes to the serving glass then carefully double strain the cocktail into it, trying not to disturb the grenadine layer too much. Add more ice if needed to fill the glass then garnish with a cherry on a stick or cocktail umbrella.
Tequila Sunrise Variation
“The Pineapple Sunrise Sour”- A riff on the classic Tequila Sunrise, with pineapple instead of the standard orange juice. Some lime and cherry make for a bright, refreshing drink!

There the snow was often two feet deep and the howling wind might be blowing at thirty miles per hour, but at least it was a dry snow. Such storms could last for a couple of days and were often followed by a week or more of sub zero weather. Here there were only four or five inches of snow on the ground and the temperature was probably in the mid twenties, but this was a wet snow - a snow, sleet, and freezing rain mixture, actually. He turned up the defroster a little more in an effort to keep the windshield clear enough to see the road.
