The journey to greatness and the future that you desire are not in anyone’s hands but yours - not the government's or your parents. I know you have been singing “Colorful and it's bright, I must get there. My future is bright, I must get there.” But, you can’t get there simply by being lethargic about it. You must apply your heart to wisdom and secure your place there.
One of the reasons many people fail is their indecisiveness on what they want. It takes knowing what you want to get to where you desire.
The future is not ahead of you but within you to create, and you must start being deliberate about your actions and decisions right now.
I want you to take charge of your destiny and that is why I wrote this book. The world awaits your unstoppable greatness.

CHAPTER
1
DECISIONS
I
n all spheres of life, there is one thing that makes a defining moment; decision. This is what has caused a lot of people to rise and some others to fall. Where you are right now is marked by your decision.
A decision is an ultimate requirement for success. You can’t make progress without making decisions for your future. Proverbs 15:22 says “without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers, they succeed.”
Mike Murdock once said, “decisions make men,” and I couldn’t agree any less. I have seen the lives of people as a mirror of the decisions they have made in their lifetime. It is said that “When you are born, you look like your parents; when you die, you look like the decisions you have made.” First, you make the decision, then the decisions make you. Your tomorrow is the blueprint of your decisions today.
The decision is a matter of life and destiny. Your life is governed by your decisions and as such, the Holy book said in Deuteronomy 30:15, “See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. Choose life,” he said. The choice is yours and you must make one that will make or mar you. Stop sitting on the fence of indecisiveness and make a choice today concerning your future. It is your decision that will determine the outcome of your tomorrow.
If you don't decide how you want to live your life today, you will be forced to live the life that the world wants you to live. The smallest decision is what changes the lives of people.
As Tony Robinson said, “It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.” Sometimes, you may look at yourself and wonder about the direction of your life, but unknowing to you, you are where you are because of the decisions you have either made or are yet to make. You are one decision away from a different life. I see a lot of young ones and the life that they are living, and it makes me shake my head in despair and disappointment because of the life decisions they are taking which will mar their lives.
One thing you must know about decisions is that when your words align with your heart, followed by an action, a decision is made. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.” Things immediately start to align with what you want.
