Akademische Arbeit aus dem Fachbereich Didaktik - Allgemeine Didaktik, Erziehungsziele, Methoden, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Technologies in education are key components in educating adults and children alike. Embracing of technology provides avenues for students by engaging students in productive learning. Students learn at different paces; teachers employing the same pedagogy for all students could be unproductive; therefore, technology plays an effective role in learning, and learners can enjoy it. The education system is constantly shifting from students passively receiving knowledge to students actively involved in knowledge construction. Students are actively seeking to engage in learning. With the importance of integration of educational technology and the quick advancements in educational technology, traditional learning can be further enhanced. Further, employing EdTech is an effective way to engage students. Therefore, there is heightened awareness of students’ engagement in learning using EdTech to achieve academic excellence. In the past, teachers grade students at the end of term, semester and year, and it has been a challenge to record the cumulative knowledge and performance of students throughout the year. EdTech has particularly helped in recording the formative assessment of students, thereby properly recording the strength and weaknesses of the students. Therefore, employing of EdTech in the class enhances students’ outcomes and reduces the burden of teachers by teachers assuming the role of facilitators.
