It’s Funny

It’s funny how we think sometimes

We are so trapped in our own illusion of a bad world

That we don’t realize what we have

We only focus on what we have lost

It’s funny how we don’t give our attention to those who care

We give all our time to those who have their own ulterior motives

We only realize what was right before our delusional eyes

When its finally ripped away from us

Its funny that we think we have it all planned out

We don’t actually have the slightest idea of what we doing

We are too busy regretting the things in the past

Instead of focusing on a future we have to build

Its funny how we don’t appreciate what we have

When there are people that wish they could have what we have

We are slowly wasting away our lives

By focusing on the negative instead of the positive

Its funny how we just don’t care sometimes

We are hurting the ones that love us

The people we are supposed to keep close

The people that actually care.

Forever

There’s something different about you

When I am with you, I know exactly what to do

I need to keep you close to me

So that you know your where I want to be

Your smile is just so perfect

Your words are always so direct

Whenever you smile at me

I can tell what words you want it to be

When you look into my eyes

I can see you don’t want to tell me any lies

When I kiss your lips so tender and sweet

My heart can’t help but skip a beat

I will never leave your side

Because you make the light in my eyes shine light

Your touches make me

Realize that you are where I want to be

Side by side we will be

So that the whole world could see

What you really mean to me

Forever and always, we will be free

You are always on my mind

Your beauty makes me so blind

I will always love you

And that my dear is what I will forever do

Come back to me soon

Among the crowd I seek your face

It’s all a big haze

I can’t seem to find you

What the hell should I do?

I should have kept you close to me

Exactly where you should be

How could you be so selfish?

Now all I have left is but only one wish

Was I wrong to care too much?

When you were walking, I was your crutch

Was it wrong to love you?

I wish that we could have made it through

We are both to blame

We were the perfect picture in our frame

Why would you just leave me?

I wish the reason for you leaving I could see

I have to find you again soon

And steal a kiss under the oh so bright moon

Where did you go?

The pain I’m feeling is starting to show

I hope you will come back to me

In my arms where you should be

I guess all I can do is wait

Just make sure when you return it’s not too late

Till we meet again

I know it hurts so much to finally let go

But it hurts more holding on

I can’t find the peace inside to let you go

How do you let someone go that means the world to you?

How do you let the person go that made you see?

What true love really is

The person you could share everything with
