Abstract - Plastic waste has become a major worldwide environmental problem with wide-ranging impacts. The rise in usage of items like PET bottles, packaging materials, and disposable goods has caused significant ecological and environmental problems. This paper examines recent researches done on using recycled plastic waste for sustainable filament production in 3D printing. It discusses different technologies for recycling thermoplastics into 3D printing filaments. The research aims to evaluate the technical and environmental viability of reusing thermoplastic waste for creating filaments in 3D printing. A comparison of properties between virgin filament material and recycled filament is presented to provide important information on the possibility of using recycled plastic for 3D printing, encouraging a more environmentally conscious and sustainable economy in the field of manufacturing technology.

Keywords - Climate, sustainable, plastic waste, recycling, 3D printing, filament.

Abstract: The manufacturing sector is a

significant contributor to greenhouse gas

emissions and energy consumption. This

study aims to investigate methods to reduce

energy consumption, discover new

approaches to enhance energy efficiency,

examine innovative materials, and explore

advanced technologies to optimize energy

efficiency in manufacturing. A

comprehensive literature review and

analysis of existing research studies were

conducted to identify key factors influencing

energy efficiency in manufacturing. The

study highlights the importance of

sustainable manufacturing practices,

innovative materials, and advanced

technologies in minimizing energy

consumption and waste. The results of the

study provide valuable insights for policy

makers and industry leaders in their pursuit

of sustainable production practices.
