In splitting the atom, our modern scientists discovered and proved for the first-time what mystics and occult students have known for centuries: At the center of the invisible atom is hidden a mysterious force that can be motivated by man's mind. This occult power is an intelligence that can be directed and controlled so that it performs amazing miracles. Many names have been given to this miracle working power that exists in the invisible interstices of the universe. It has been called cosmic mind, universal intelligence (by William James, noted psychologist of Harvard University), divine mind, cosmic magnetism, and almost universally, this amazing intelligence has been called by the name of God, in every one of the revealed religions of the world.

HOW ONE WOMAN USED THIS OCCULT POWER TO CREATE A COMPLETELY NEW LIFE

How this occult power works to shape and build a completely new life was illustrated in the case of a widow, Mrs. Ruth H., who came to my lectures in New York City after the death of her husband. Mrs. H. was then sixty years of age, and she felt that this was the end of her life. She learned of how occult power works and that it is never ending, not recognizing limitations set by age or circumstances.

She had a big home she wanted to get rid of, but there seemed to be no one interested. I gave her the regime for magnetizing the occult forces that would bring into her orbit the people who needed exactly that type of home. She worked to project this mental image of the life she desired for the future. She saw the house as already sold, visualized herself going on a long ocean voyage.

One day her telephone rang and, psychically, Mrs. H. knew that this was a lucky moment for her and that someone would want to buy her house.

The call was from a real estate agent who had a couple who seemed to be interested in her home. When Mrs. H. met this young couple, she knew instantly they would buy the house. Within two days the deal was completed. They made the down payment, and Mrs. H. prepared for the next step of her unfoldment. She booked passage on a round-the-world cruise, confident that occult power would guide her to her next step in unfoldment.

It was while the ship was in the Mediterranean that the third phase of unfoldment came for Mrs. H. She met a retired doctor, a widower, who was travelling around the world.

Before the cruise ended the retired doctor proposed marriage and Mrs. H. accepted. They had a shipboard wedding and when they returned to New York went on a two-week honeymoon, like a couple of youngsters!

THE TWO POLARITIES OF OCCULT POWER YOU MAY USE

There are two polarities of occult power in the universe. One is positive and constructive, and can be channeled by your mind to perform amazing things. The other polarity is negative and destructive and is often used by unscrupulous persons to gain control of the minds of others. The positive polarity of occult power, which you will learn to use, is called Good or God. The negative polarity, which you can avoid, is called evil, or the devil force, and represents the destructive elements that are rampant in the world today.

Occultism deals with the positive spectrum of cosmic power. You must know what these positive occult forces are, then you can easily release their potent power in your daily life and achieve health, happiness, prosperity, peace of mind, romantic fulfillment, and spiritual completion.

HOW PHILLIP USED OCCULT POWER TO CHANGE A NEGATIVE FORCE INTO A POSITIVE ONE

To show you how the positive and negative polarities of occult power work, let me tell you what occurred to a lecture member in New York City. This man worked in an office with another man who hated him. Mr. Phillip T., the man who had studied these occult laws with me, knew that the other man's negative use of occult power could not destroy him, for he manifested only the positive and constructive polarity. He counteracted the negative polarity of hate with the positive one of love, given in the above chart. Each time he saw the man who spread ugly rumors about him, he blessed him and sent him loving, forgiving thoughts.
