Beschreibung

In Managing Vertigo Naturally, author Jacqueline L. Maragh (also known as Jackie Collins) uses both practical and simple incentives to give readers a glimpse of the road she traveled as the mother of two sons, a vertigo fighter, and a Jamaican immigrant living and worked in the United States.

Maragh leaves no stones unturned as she tells her journey to inspire and encourage readers.

Binding the topics of her book along with perseverance, determination, and prayer, Maragh shows how she confronts life's twists and turns and presents endurance as a matter of faith and persistence. Looking to Maragh as an example of personal triumph, readers will glean the strength to face challenges in their own lives and will rest assured that they too can overcome health challenges.

INTRODUCTION

My motivation for writing this book came from the realization that there are many people across the globe who do not have access to medical help. This book will help the less fortunate to utilize some of what is written on these pages to heal their minds and bodies.

With today's economic crisis, many people have to choose whether to see a doctor, pay bills, or feed the family. Many people simply do not have finances at their disposal.

With the changing circumstances and challenges, I envision this book in the hands and ears of all people globally suffering from vertigo to take anything from this book, implement it into their lives, and forego changes to become better.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jacqueline L Maragh (aka Jackie Collins) was born in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. She spent her first twenty years on the island until she immigrated to the United States with her firstborn. She worked in corporate America for several years as a secretary and substitute teacher, then turned to healthcare in 1996.

She retired early from a hospital in Chicago to care for herself and her ailing father, who has been battling stage IV prostate cancer since 2017. She holds a BSc degree in technical management/HR and has taken some graduate courses. She also has experience in orthopedics, rheumatology, neurology, and psychiatry. She has two sons, ages thirty-eight and thirty-four.

She is an author, a stay-at-home caregiver for her father, an upcoming entrepreneur, and a grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters, a wonderful grandson, and an unborn granddaughter.

She plans to continue to write to benefit the lives of people everywhere.

A Little Bit About Myself

My name is Jacqueline Maragh. I was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, W.I. (TG) Tivoli Gardens. Living there were some of the best years of my life. My siblings and I rode on 100 pounds of gas cylinders; some were full, and some empty. None of us knew how dangerous that was at the time. Just children playing with whatever we could find in and around the yard. Chickens, eggs, planted vegetation, fruit trees, a built-on swing on the limb of the huge almond tree, and a dog, REX, warden of the yard. Outside of the family REX knew, everyone had to enter at their own risk.

As a young girl, I was determined to do things my way. Whenever I didn't get my way, I would sometimes bang my head against the wall and cry aloud. Young and emotional. Dumber than dumb, one would think. Who was I hurting? Nobody but myself. I'm a work in progress.
