THE SCHOOL OF LIFE

"THE JOURNEY"                                                                                                                                     

Looking at the starry night sky

Kindled memories afore,

The joyfull and sad days of yore,

The aging, aching mind,

For a moment, glimsed behind,

Many battles fought,

Some won, some lost,

Some scars healhng,

Some still bleeding,

Musing the gains and losses,

Moistened my eyes,

Lost a few,

Won a few,

Ever to start anew,

Now the strength fading,

Can I bear a new dawning.

Feeble and waning,

Tired of chasing ,

New dreams,

The thirst, never ending,

How long do I keep on going,

Now is the time for peace,

Serenity and introspection,

Give my life to God in humble submission,

And keep on living the tradition.

 "NATURE-A MIRACLE"

The blue Sky,Clouds go by,

The Wind,Birds mount on it and fly,

The water,Rivers to the oceans, flow by,

The Earth,Nurtures all humanity,

The Fire,Cleanses in totality.

The five Elements,Working, twentyfour-seven,

The Almighty watching over, from Heaven,

Not a moments rest,

Always giving the best,

Gotta learn from them,

Gonna mimic them,

A miracle, the rising sun,

At the crack of dawn,

The chirping birds,

Feeding the nestlings,

A dash for survival,

A race eternal,

All taking a rest,

At every sunset,

To start again, another day,

The relentless search,

The ceaseless battle,

Till Judgement day.

"O' WOMAN..."

With your fertility you are the ‘earth’

With your passionate and temperamental nature you are "fire",

With your serene flow through life you are "water",

With your free and elusive spirit you are "wind",

Being light as air and vast you are "space".

The five elements, you are,

The Universe, you are,

Gods best creation, you are,

Mans better half, you are.

Divine as a Mother,

Sublime as a Sister,

Lovable as a Wife,

And adorable as a Daughter.

You are the World,

You are the Celestial Power,

You are the Ultimate Giver,

Blessed is man to have her.

"LIFE'S RIDDLE"

A successful life,

They urged me,

Is important and better,

Will save you from rain and thunder,

Save for a rainy day,

All work and no play,

Wont make you dull,

Will make you a market's bull.

With Success, you'll garner power,

Can dwell in a palacial tower,

You'll gain respect and esteem,

Will be Society's cream.

Earn more, gain more,

Will open every door,

Slog slog slog and slog,

Like a dog,

Then I asked them all,

Please take this call,
