Chapter :1: Gym Start-Up
In late 2016, Alex Hormozi, a successful entrepreneur with a chain of gyms, embarked on a new venture called Gym Launch. His goal was to share his expertise in marketing and business development with gym owners to help them attract the largest possible clientele by designing effective offers.
To fund the launch of his sales company, Alex sold all of his fitness centers, but his business partner stole the money, leaving him with only $300. However, he didn't let this setback stop him. He used the $100,000 available on his credit card to fund his enterprise.
In the first month of 2017, Alex made $100,117, which barely covered his daily debt accrual of $3,300. Despite these challenges, he made a profit of $3,000,000 by the end of the year. His success led him to become a philanthropist and frequent guest at charity dinners, where he met his hero, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
