Introduction
As a wife, one of the most important responsibilities we have is to lift up our husbands in prayer. The Bible instructs us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and what could be more worthy of our continual petitions than the well-being of the man who is our partner in life?
When we go before the Lord on behalf of our husbands, we are tapping into a powerful source of strength, healing, and wisdom that transcends our own capabilities. We are inviting the great Physician into the areas where our husbands face battles, whether physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16).
This book contains 20 prayers focused on your husband's health and soundness of mind. With Scripture as our guide, we will pray for protection against sickness and disease, for healing of chronic conditions, for mental clarity, and for deliverance from anxiety, depression, and spiritual oppression.
Our God is "able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" (Ephesians 3:20). So let us approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16), laying our husband's needs before our Heavenly Father, trusting that He hears the cries of our hearts and will work mightily on behalf of our loved ones.

Prayer for Physical Health
Heavenly Father,
I lift up my beloved husband’s physical health before You. Please protect him from illness, strengthen his body, and grant him vitality. Your Word in Psalm 103:2-3 (NIV) reminds us of Your healing power: “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” May Your healing touch be upon him, Lord.
As I intercede for my husband's health, I cling to the promise in Jeremiah 17:14 (NIV): “Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” I trust in Your unfailing love and believe in Your power to restore him to full health.
In the name of Jesus, I rebuke any sickness or disease that may try to assail his body. I declare Your Word from Isaiah 53:5 (NIV): “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” May the stripes Jesus bore on the cross bring complete healing to my husband, both physically and spiritually.
