Deutsch-englisches Wörterbuch
der
Eins-zu-eins-Entsprechungen
in zwei Bänden
Erster Band A - K
Books on Demand
rainworm,
goose breast,
wide jump,
frost-free,
ice bear,
dog-tired,
house shoe,
empty promise,
shoulder-free,
moral fig leaf,
the reverse of a medal,
creditworthiness,
without much feather reading,
knowledge explosion,
overfly a text,
throw-away society,
have you slept out?,
drink someone under the table,
make oneself a picture of sth,
be in the picture,
this medicine doesn’t speak on,
have an hour free,
don’t make such a theatre,
keep body and soul together.
roter Teppich; den roten Teppich ausrollen – red carpet; roll out the red carpet
When the Prime Minister visited Berlin, they rolled out the red carpet.
– We have never had it so good.).
*head pillow; *water watch; *go-out uniform, *he doesn’t tick correctly; etc.), oder man wählt oft unnötige Paraphrasen, wie z.B. the constant discovered by Hubble anstatt the Hubble constant.
