THE NATURAL IS SUBJECT TO THE SUPERNATURAL
We are living in the 21 st Century. These are the last days as the scripture had foretold by describing the features and characteristics. These features are glaring before our eyes already. There are perilous times, men love themselves more than God. There are wars and rumors of war everywhere. Abominable activities are accepted and forced into our society. False apostles, teachers, prophets and their doctrines are on the increase as well as people with itching ears receiving the ungodly messages as against the pricking of their own consciences. With Wisdom, knowledge and technology is on an exponential increase, the ripple effects of these and more makes the love of many to wax cold in the season where we ought to do exploits through the knowledge of God and the resources, he made available.
We are in the world but not of the world. It is the church age no matter what the devil says, we are the light and to lead the right way in all facets of life. From the moment we were born we carry a potential Devine. When we get born again and get filled in the Spirit, that potential is activated spiritually. When we get born again till Christ comes or when our days our out, we have got a life to live. Our duty is show forth his praise in our various life department. We are to talk about is redemption, excellence, love etc. through our life style, results as much as we preach with our mouth. We must not be clergy. In the bible most of the great heroes were not necessarily clergy. David, the King, Daniel, the President General, General Joshua Father Abraham, Queen Esther etc. were not primarily pastors but had secular jobs. A unique thing about them is that these people had great spiritual in-deep relationship with God that resulted in excellent spiritual, emotional, mental, leadership, wisdom, technological etc. results. Today, we classify them spiritually with proper clergy as pastors, priests, Levites and prophets such as Moses, Eli, Elijah, Paul, Peter, Deborah, Jeremiah etc. who at one point or the other were intentional to the office, called. It is therefore proper to draw wisdom lessons from them. The great bible heroine, Esther is just one of the numerous examples. In fact, all through the events around her, unlike the other heroes, God was merely behind the scene working things out why she retained the fear, practice and principles of godliness. As great as they are, we yet have better advantages over them. You know why? It is Jesus. They were looking up to Jesus and had a shadow manifestation of what those who have Jesus would have. Now we have Jesus and in addition, we have their examples to learn from too.
I have actually got a Devine leading towards Queen Esther and thank God I have by His Grace fulfilled it. Please, before reading this book, kindly read through the book of Esther in the Bible. It will help one in this interesting journey. The Heroic story of Esther is a very popular one. The family story of Esther began in Esther Chapter 2. The word Esther is the English version of the Hebrew Hadassah. Her biological father was Abahai from Benjamin, Israel. But as a girl Esther was orphaned. She was not only that, she was also an exiled slave. She was a lovely and beautiful girl. Mordecai was her cousin who was much older. He adopted her after her parents died. Esther would later become the Queen as we know but before then many things happened.
Xerxes was the Persian emperor ruling the entire known world then. He had organized a party to celebrate his glories in the capital city, Shushan. He had a beautiful wife who thinks so much of herself, Vashti-The Queen. Vashti was an exact opposite of Esther. While the king was having his merriments, Vashti was having hers separately, with the women. This must be the beginning of her error. She would have been beside her king or so, if needed. But there was no one to counsel her. Maybe she never had a listening ear to her maids. If she was here today, she would be a top leader of the feminists or female supremist. Could one say that she exhibited these before the time? Up until this extent, she had her way with a strongly aura of influence over the women of the Kingdom. The king said or did nothing. This was the time; the king could make laws anytime and it will bind even if it was inhuman. They were little or no human rights then; power and authority belong to the most powerful.
Then, there was a second mistake by Queen Vashti. It was at the peak of the royal party and the king wanted to showcase his beautiful wife. He sent for her so men could see her display her beauty. Outrightly, she refused to come. She did not show up. She was so irrational. This was the second and final mistake. She had ruined the dignitary and glory of the royal party. She had also ruined her life. Now her beauty meant nothing anymore. Her arrogant cup is filled to the brim and is spilling out. There is a lot of lessons here. What we have matters, but what we do with what we have matters most. The advantage we have could slide to a big disadvantage if we don’t utilize it rightly. We all have something, we are all unique for a purpose, but if we don’t do that purpose, a substitute is not far away. We are our own making and our own undoing as well. Pride and arrogance are not far away from the fall and some doings may not be reversible with respect to their consequence.
Vashti was not left unpunished. By the advice of the king’s counsels (Esther 1:3), she was removed. The smarter than Vashti, rather than being irrational, sought for counsel. Her deed was going to ring an attitude in the whole empire. She was going to be punished not only for her deed but the ripple effect of it as the news would echo across the empire. Even the King himself could not help her anymore. She would have to be replaced.
It was the bid to replace her that others including Esther came into the picture. If one has not read the bible story please do so. One can still go ahead and read it along with this book. It is a ten-chapter book, a slow-paced reading of two chapters a day can take up to 5 days or about 5 hours for a continuous moderate reading in a day. One will find out more secretes from the great book and the main, Character, Queen Esther.
Actually, God was the main Character working behind the scene. He was using situations to communicate and build to glory, those who would follow his principles and leading no matter where they are found, the level of the situation is inconsequential.
As one carefully goes through this book with the help of the Holy Spirit, one would discover multiple leadership and personal lessons from the life and era of Queen Esther. Therefore, tighten one’s seat belt as we fly together.

Building alliances and Right association38. Commitment to Duty- Esther and Mordechai39. The Devine law of sowing and reaping40. Don’t discriminate doing good41. Hero Parenting Secretes from Mordechai42. The natural is subject to the supernaturalThere was a humble beginning for Esther. Infact, it was a tragedy. Esther had three negative caps that could mar her life totally. It could be a very reasonable purpose for depression and various psychological disorders, if it were in today’s world.
She lost her both parents, lived in exile as a captive. What a hopeless situation. It is one thing to be an orphan but worse still to be enslaved. But that did not determine her end. It was rather like manure to the root of her tree of legacy. It has already been established that one’s background should not never be a limiting factor for her development. Even though Esther had a little beginning, poverty is not the bases of becoming great. We can all become great starting from what point we are at. We are all children of destiny with the purpose of God written in our DNA. God created us for greatness and He sets up situational ladder to take us up from where we are to where he wants us to. Like Hagar in the Bible who found a well for her thirsty son or the Naaman’s maid who gave a timely word of wisdom, we all have pockets of Devine supports here and there. May we never miss them in Jesus name. Amen.
So, Esther never ended up helpless. God placed by her an older cousin, Mordechai. He was her Destiny helper. He must have taught so when he picked this little orphaned, enslaved girl child and adopted her as his own daughter.
Being a committed Jew, Mordechai imparted upon his daughter many godly upbringings. And many things are here to point out.
One, it was never mentioned that Mordechai ever married. He must have been a Eunuch. One must not be a biological parent to be a blessing, some adopted parents even do better parenting than their biological counterparts. Some men only had one duty with respect to parenting- impregnating women. It is more than this. Our society today has a lot of broken homes, non-structured families. The LQBT movements and other related movements are infusing confusion into the God ordained natural order of life. If today, we have increased societal problems and increased crime rates due to dysfunctional homes, how much more dysfunctional will tomorrow look like as basic values get trashed in the name of human rights. This is not to point out that humans with such negative orientations be treated as outcasts. They need therapy and deliverance, their upside-down tendencies should be treated not nominalized, lest greater man-made evil is coming because of our iniquitous living as influenced by the devil.
Two, Mordechai and Esther are a small symbolism of what advantage we have today. Like Esther and worse still, we were slaves to the devil and the elements of this world, Hopeless, helpless. But Jesus has Come with abundance of life and triumph over the devil. To those who receive him, Jesus gives power to trample over the devil and all his evil with a guarantee that no evil and by no means can they be hurt by the devil. There is victory and glory in Jesus. Halleluiah. Thus, we are better situated today in every sense of it, then in Esther’s days.
However, do one know people who remain in their past never get better? They are a lot of negative repercussions to allowing our small beginnings swallow us up. These negative experiences today may vary greatly depending on individual circumstances and that this list is not exhaustive. Here are 50 possible disadvantages:
1. Limited access to quality education
2. Reduced opportunities for social mobility
3. Financial struggles and instability
4. Limited access to healthcare and medical resources
5. Increased exposure to violence and crime

50. Increased risk of feeling marginalized and disenfranchised
Once again, it's important to recognize that these disadvantages can vary depending on individual circumstances, and not everyone will experience all of these challenges. However, this list aims to highlight some of the potential difficulties that individuals from less privileged backgrounds may face. Only those who find the list as reasonable excuse will remain static to that position of climate of frustration. Those who find as a booster of hard and smart work with divine grace will never remain there for ever. They will move and climb the lather. We may not have the choice as to where we are born, but the choice to remain there is ours just like the story of the Biblical celebrity lepers. I call them celebrities. They were social and religious outcasts due to the nature of their diseases. They went through those 50 experiences and more. But the day they decided, even God backed them up. And one know the end of the story. It seems, nobody is destined to be small, we only decide to by indulging in self-pity, appeasements, laziness and focusing on today while gumming our buttocks to our sit of self-pity and irresponsibility. Will one sit down, watch, mourn and celebrate the low levels accommodating all these experiences or try and make one’s way out of it by God’s grace. And when out, never forget to help those who are still there.
Thus, giving up due to a poor, less privileged background is never an option. They are life advantages to the never give up spirit. We try and succeed or die trying. With God, we cannot die trying, we can only succeed.
Note that never giving up is a mindset that can lead to personal growth, resilience, and success in various aspects of life. There is more skills and attitudes that comes with this fighting spirit in the right way. Such a person:

There is no way any one with the above skill and attitudinal development won’t become a successful leader in life. That was the path of Esther, I believe. If she never had it, nothing would come out of her, maybe she may have stopped at adoption of worse still, be abandoned. One has to be ready, fully equipped and set, before the right opportunity comes, if not one won’t even know when it comes, talk more of possessing the skills to rightly harness them for use.
Favour can be defined as an undeserved grace that one gets which results in obtaining benefits from another person without necessarily working for it. It is what makes one more advantaged above another person of equal or even superior capabilities. Esther’s favour was definitely Devine.
Esther walked from one level of Favour to another. First, she was adopted. Then she was selected as one of the numerous candidates that were taken into the sort of beauty school to qualify for Queenship. After that, they will be presented to the king, the most favorite as seen by the king would be taken. In the beauty school during the training, Esther found favour in the sight of the trainer in charge. She was given special attention and she was totally submissive to training at every step just as she had been under. When it came to her turn to see the emperor, she was the most valued and thus given the position over and above all her contemporaries. Of all the candidates she was chosen and she became the next Queen.
They are very important questions to ask. Queen Esther was just one amongst many selected virgins, why was she favoured? Was it only a natural thing (because of her beauty)? They were equally beautiful people from more opportune background that were not taken (Note that Mordechai her foster father, was only a gate-man of the palace). Can one also be favoured? If yes, how? Devine favour comes from God. There are also things we could do to enhance favour. We have already seen that favour is very important as it will distinguish one from the others. In the economic principle of life, opportunities are scarcer than those seeking for them. Opportunities are rare and competitive commodities. One need an outstanding feature to stand out when all is said and done. Favour is that very important commodity in the market of life. We should do all we can to obtain and enhance favour. This is because favour is important.
Importance of favour
Favour can have a significant impact on various aspects of life. Here are 20 distinguishing importance of favour:
1. Builds relationships: Favour can strengthen bonds and relationships. A better relationship with the right person can take one up the next phase of life. Once one have a destiny helper, maintain a healthy relationship with such person. Try not to be a parasite. Maintain dignity.
2. Encourages gratitude: Receiving favour fosters gratitude and appreciation. courteous attitude like gratitude and appreciation in retuen also boost more favour. The cycle gets amplified.
3. Boosts confidence: Receiving favour can enhance self-esteem and confidence. One’s self-esteem and confidence further enable one to be more productive and fulfilling.
4. Provides opportunities: Favour can open doors to new opportunities and experiences. This is one of the popular and important aspect of favour. For Esther, it was one of the things that made her become the Queen.
5. Demonstrates kindness: Showing favour demonstrates kindness and compassion. Favour is not necessarily deserved, it an act or demonstration of kindness and compassion, just as God has done to us. So, we must do to others. We favour others to obtain favour as a law of action and reaction or sowing and reaping. One way of demonstrating favour the display of kindness.
6. Fosters loyalty: Receiving favour can inspire loyalty and dedication.
7. Encourages reciprocity: Receiving favour often prompts a desire to return the favour.
8. Enhances reputation: Showing favour can enhance one's reputation and character.
