Aba stirred awake as Nathan stopped the car.
She sleepily blinked as she glanced around her, for a moment not understanding what was going on. She looked over at Cooper and up at Nathan as he stepped out of the vehicle, her eyes growing wide as she saw the figures coming towards the car. She tensed, immediately awake...but then she heard the laughter and cheers and realized they were not dead things stumbling towards the car but real people.
She saw smiles and waves, happy faces. After a moment Aba smiled and relaxed, unable to help herself as she saw more happy faces in a few seconds then she had seen in what felt like forever.
“It’s good to see ya’ll.” Nathan could not stop grinning as he surveyed what was left of his group.

They were now short a few and those few would be missed but he had learned when his wife died that one couldn’t afford to focus on what had been lost. By focusing on what had been lost what was still good and whole would be neglected and eventually lost as well.
Bea gave Nathan a tight hug as Will grinned at him.
“Good to see you." She sniffled and ducked her head as she pulled away but she was smiling.
Aba stuck by Cooper as the others milled about them. There was a lot of hugging, patting on backs, smiling and laughing.
