"Erotic literature should always have a strong visual element.

When I read a story, I want to experience it like watching a movie.“

The Assignement

The Orlovs were no ordinary family. Nelson Orlov was abillionaire with deep political connections. His fortune was estimated to be at least 25 billion dollars.Anyone who played in this league had enemies. Nelson Orlov was no exception. One of his closest confidants and the CEO of one of his energy companies was found dead in his London apartment a month ago, ripped to shreds as if by a predator. Just one day after Orlov had been with him. The case had been in the news ever since. Radical activists were suspected of responding to the environmental devastation caused by Orlov's involvement in oil deals in North Africa. Two months ago, there had been an oil tanker accident with serious environmental consequences. The MercuryHorizon leaked during a storm off the coast of Somalia. Then, two weeks ago, two of his fierce guard dogs were found with their throats slit on the grounds of his villa in Tuscany. If and how this was connected remained unclear.Obviously, someone wanted to embarrass or even eliminate Orlov. No wonder he thought of increasing his security.

Sera Fox was called by her agency when a female bodyguard was specifically requested. As a bodyguard and former Interpol agent, she had earned an excellent reputation in the security business. But why did Orlov want her? It was probably quite simple. Orlov had specifically asked for a woman, but she had to be the best. The pay was excellent, and she didn't have to think long about it. She was also excited to get a glimpse into this man's life. Now that she had finally arrived at his exclusive estate on the South Island of New Zealand after a 48-hour journey, she was eager to learn more. Leaning back in his large leather sofa, he looked at her intently. He was wearing a dark blue suit with a red handkerchief. Three of his bodyguards stood behind him. She knew there were two men behind her as well."I'll be leaving for the airport in a few minutes," Orlov explained."Where will I be?" she asked him. "Here. You stay here and look after my son Nikolai. Where I'm going, it's too dangerous for him. I want him to stay here. With you.""What about your men?""You won't be all alone. Three of my men will also stay here. Alexej, my head of security, thinks that if I leave the estate with everyone else at once, it will look like no one is staying behind. Until I return, this is the safest place for my son."Do you think there is a threat?" "The incidents they knew about were mainly meant as a warning to me, but I don't want to put my family in unnecessary danger. That's why my children, my wife and I will live separately until it's safe again," Orlov said. "You said until you come back. When will that be?" "A week. Maybe two or three. It depends on how quickly I can resolve this." "You want to resolve it?""No questions, please." He raised a hand."All right."

"The building is equipped with a surveillance system. As I said, three men will stay here with you. They will mainly keep an eye on the area outside. You will stay with my boy and not let him out of your sight. He is not to leave the building. He is of age at 18, but he respects my decisions and will stick to them."Sera looked at Orlov and raised her eyebrows. "My decision," he said and stood up. "Does your son know he has a babysitter now?" "He knows that a professional will protect him. You can introduce yourself. He's by the pool." He gave his men an order in Russian and they began to move. One of his men handed her her gun. She had to hand it over as she entered the compound."Enjoy your time. If you need anything, help yourself," Orlov said. Without turning, he walked out of the huge lounge. One by one, his men followed. A short time later, three armored black limousines drove off into the night, leaving the glass house in the dunes behind.Alexej, the white-bearded head of security, showed Sera the surveillance room and verified her fingerprints for the security system. Then he showed her the armory. Machine guns, shotguns, and stun grenades hung on the walls. Orlov was well equipped. Was he expecting to go to war? "How do you feel about that, Alexej? Are you expecting uninvited visitors?" "It's my job to expect the worst. But if you ask me, our boss has more to worry about right now. His son is in far less danger than he is." "He seemed calm," Sera said. "He is. Cold as ice. Come on. I'll show you to your room."

Her room was small but luxurious. The shower was in the middle of the room. It was a large angular glass cubicle with two small palm trees for decoration.Nice. "I'll freshen up and then introduce myself to Nikolai." Alexei hesitated for a moment."Is there something else on your mind, Alexej?""I know you're a professional. Still, stay alert.""That's my job," she said. He left the room, closing the door behind him.Sera put her gun on the bed and immediately took off her business suit. Underneath was her black underwear. On her lower right leg was a sheath containing a hunting knife. She always carried a knife. No matter what the situation. In her job it was important to be prepared.

Nikolai

She let the hot water wash over her body and shampooed her long dark brown hair. She was used to working in exotic places and dealing with difficult clients. Spending a few weeks in this luxurious place and taking care of Orlov's offspring should not be a very difficult task, she thought. She took it upon herself to stay on her toes under any and all circumstances. With a towel around her hips, Sera stepped out of the shower and pushed open the large door to her room, behind which was a walk-in closet. Orlov's people had planned ahead. A selection of clothes in her size, from casual wear to elegant evening gowns, unfolded before her.Wrapped in her bath towel, she looked at the underwear and swimwear Orlov had provided. The selection ranged from sexy lingerie to skimpy bikinis. Sera couldn't help but grin. Nothing was left to chance here. It was quite possible that Nikolai wanted to sleep with her tonight. She chose a skimpy leopard bikini and put on a charcoal business suit and high heels. She tucked her gun into its holster. Her long brunette hair was in perfect place. She looked at herself in the mirror. She felt like who she was. Sexy, professional, and when she wanted to be .... deadly.Sera returned to the living area, the center of the house. On her way, she nodded to one of Orlov's security guards as he made his rounds. She walked down a hallway that led to the swimming pool. Another of Alexej's broad-shouldered men with an earpiece was guarding the entrance. Sera said, "You can go. I'll take it from here."Without a word, the bald-headed man left his place and disappeared in the same direction she had come.Sera entered the pool area through a heavy glass door. She immediately felt a warm breeze and detected the faint smell of chlorine in the air. The light was dim. Through the tall glass windows she could see the dunes illuminated by the moonlight. The pool was shaped like a large blob of color. The water had a bright turquoise shimmer to it. Even from a distance, she could see two people standing waist-deep in the water. One of them was Orlov's son, Nikolai. She recognized him because her agency had sent her a profile of him shortly before and in preparation for the mission. He looked younger than in the picture. A slim, well-trained body. With blond hair at least as long as hers and an androgynous face, he looked extremely feminine.
