One of the hardest things to face when beginning your online marketing career is to convince yourself deep inside that you can make a lot of money in the internet, only with your intellectual capacity. It seems easy, but it’s not.
Since we were young, our parents and teachers have been telling us that, in order to make money, we must work, sweat and get our hands dirty; in short, toil a lot. That easy money nurtures vices. That he who doesn’t sweat can’t boast a respectable work. That a steady job is the only thing that can assure our future.
Trash. Absolute and total trash.
Tell me the truth. On average, today, how long does it take to earn one thousand euros per month? Every month. For certain. So? If you’re lucky enough to earn them, good for you. Anyway they’re not enough for you. Because, in most cases, in order to earn that amount you’ll have to work eight hours per day and, since they’re still not enough for you (unless you’re a youngster living with his parents), you’ll have to work extra hours. Or you’ll have to be two breadwinners in the family. And when children are born? It’s quite a problem. One thousand net euros in your pocket every month, especially if they round up a deficient salary, are really a lot. Also because, except for the initial commitment of about a month, it won’t be too hard to rack them up.
I don’t want to exaggerate and give you false promises. I’m not a barker telling nonsense, such as the lie that you’ll sink in gold. I’ll just give you some useful advice to round up your scarce salary. One thousand euros are not much… but they can be. If you earn more, it’ll be due to your ability. But with this method they’re a coherent and objective amount. It will take you about a month to begin, and then three hours every week to keep on.
Now I’m going to explain you how.
A little time ago I’ve sent an email to an eBay seller. It was a very informal email, starting with “Hi!”.
Maybe it wasn’t very professional, I agree, but evidently it was perfect, because thanks to it I’ve earned two thousand euros in the following 48 hours. Unluckily, only one thousands of them were mine, but you’ll agree that it wasn’t really a bad start.
The eBay seller was someone I’d never contacted before; a perfect unknown that I’d spotted because I’d spent some time browsing the lists.
However, I had no doubt he would answer, even if with a polite “no”.
Actually, there was little chance of a definitive “no”: would you answer no to an email proposing you to make a certain amount of money in two days and divide it in half? At least, before closing the door, you’ like to know more, wouldn’t you?
So my new eBay seller friend answered and we agreed on 50% each for the bargain, then I spent a couple of hours writing a new email, opening a website, adding a PayPal button and a download page to it. (Later on I’ll tell you exactly what was written in these two emails.)
I sent the second email to about ten eBay sellers that I’d previously spotted, I clicked the “Send” button, then I went into the kitchen to prepare dinner. After a while, I got back to my PC and I opened the email browser, so I could look in real time at the emails that I was expecting to receive.
After a twenty minutes wait, I started worrying it may not work: as all the newbies, I was expecting to be flooded with messages after just ten minutes, but it hadn’t been like that. I told myself to be patient and I waited a little longer. When I got too anxious, I went to feed my cats; then, when I got back to my PC, I had a nice surprise.
It was a screenshot of the first 25 emails I had received: they had all arrived within half an hour after clicking the “Send” button.
Then I understood the mystery: the first 25 emails were coming from people actually sitting in front of their PC when my mail arrived. Most of the people, instead, weren’t there at that moment, but they checked their email folders the following day or so.
In the next 48 hours, the payment e-mails never stopped.
All in all, after two days, I checked my PayPal account and found out that I’d earned slightly more than 2,530 euros. After deducting the PayPal commissions, I sent half of the earnings to my eBay seller friend, who obviously jumped from joy (and who wouldn’t?) and took a few days of to go shopping.
And that’s all.
How did I do it? I’ll explain it in the next chapter.
Understanding Joint Ventures and eBay sellers
WHAT IS THAT? you’ll be wondering?
I’ll show you how you can earn a lot of money by stipulating JV (Joint Ventures) with eBay sellers.
