EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Born on October 15, 1960, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Michael Monroe Lewis came into the world as the son of J. Thomas Lewis, a corporate attorney, and Diana Monroe Lewis, a dedicated community activist.
