His career in journalism began at the Sunday Times of London and then at The Times-Picayune in New Orleans. However, Isaacson made his mark at TIME magazine, where he served as its Chairman and CEO and led the publication to great success during his tenure. He was also the editor of TIME from 1996 to 2001, leaving an indelible mark on the magazine's journalistic integrity and content.
