Lucky Love

John Morgan, a handsome 31-year-old bachelor, was on the bus to sin city, Las Vegas. Traveling from Los Angeles, where he was a successful website designer, he took this trip once a year; more for the fun than the fantasy of winning.

On the bus ride, he spotted a beautiful woman with long blond hair, blue eyes, and a curvaceous body. “Oh, if I could only get close to her, she is so beautiful!” he pondered. She was sitting at the window seat, and an aisle seat was vacant. He leaned over to her and said, “Is this seat available?”

“Yes, it is available” the soft voice answered.

“Do you mind if I sit next to you?” John replied.

“No, I don’t mind,” she said.

“Thank you, my name is John, what’s yours?”

“My name is Janine,” she said as she looked at him and smiled.

After introducing themselves, they continued with the light conversation then it progressed to more intimate details about the family, friends, and relationships. They were indeed enjoying each other’s company. When the bus arrived in Las Vegas, they exchanged cell phone numbers and planned to keep in touch. Perhaps they would even meet before they left Las Vegas.

Janine, 27, who also lived in Los Angeles, was in Vegas to meet friends for a weekend of partying, drinking, dancing, and a little gambling. She decided, after her comfortable conversations with John, to see him while they were both still in Vegas. It would be nice to reserve one night to get to know him better. Before her partying got started, she called John and arranged to meet for drinks. On the last night, they met at the bar for drinks and a night of fun. They drank beers and laughed at each other’s jokes and got along well. There was chemistry between them. Janine wasn’t much of a drinker, so after three beers, she was drunk. John, being a kind-hearted man, decided to help her to get a hotel room. At the door of her hotel room, Janine says, “Please don’t go, don’t leave me, just kiss me. Kiss me.”

John, not wanting to take advantage of her, responded, “You are drunk Janine, let me put you to bed, and we will talk tomorrow when you are sober.”

“No, just kiss me, I want you now.” she slurred.

“No, my sweetheart, you need to rest. I will call you in the morning.” So, he put her to bed, pulled the blanket over her, kissed her forehead, and left.

The next morning, John called to see how Janine was doing and inviting her down for breakfast before leaving. “Did you sleep well?” He asked.

“Yes, but I woke up with a little headache. By the way, how did I get to my room last night? I was so drunk I don't remember how I got into bed, ” she shyly asks.

“I took you up to your room, put you to bed, and kissed you Goodnight.”

“I am embarrassed about my behavior. Regardless, thank you for taking good care of me. Can you meet me for coffee?”
