Introduction

The industry for this project is Education. Education has evolved over the past 25 years; no longer are students required to sit in classrooms to be educated; instead, they can be taught the same courses online, library, and in the privacy of their homes (Salaam Baalak Trust Delhi, 2019). This innovative strategy has caused traditional Education to be outdated as technology such as the internet revolutionized it. Technology has added value to both teachers and students. Teachers can create instructional materials such as whiteboards, live course chatrooms, streaming video platforms, web conferencing tools, and PowerPoint presentations. Moreover, students can use technology such as Google and Wikipedia as tools to research projects.

Over the years, modernist educators created a disruptive innovation that disrupts the traditional way of teaching and learning. Thus, the invention of online Education. They took advance of new technology to develop online Education. In this case, traditional Education is categorized as sustaining innovation since it does not create a new market but allows the opportunity for improvement in technology.

To do so, they must first have a full understanding of the Job to be done. What Job needs to be 'hire' for the Jobs to be done, for both teachers and students? For example:

What group of students to target for the evolution. What jobs are the teachers trying to get done? What jobs are needed to help the students get done? What steps are required to get the job-to-be-done for teachers and students? What emotions evolved during the process of jobs being done? What are the expected outcomes (needs) involve getting the core strategy of jobs done?

Job-To-Be-Done

The target groups of students are k-12, teens, young adults, and adults. Each group needs different job-to-be-done because of the various levels of intellect and learning capabilities. In contrast, teachers need to hire implement tools that would get the Job done, satisfy students' needs; and to feel comfortable using them. However, some steps are required to get the job-to-be-done, such as understanding the levels of Education: elementary, intermediate, college, and university. Only with this understanding will teachers hire the correct component for the Job. As a result, teachers and students will be satisfied with the hired online education programs. Here, the core strategy of the Job is basic Education – teachers educating students.

The educational organization is affected negatively and positively by three factors: resources, processes, and profit formula. These three factors help educators to determine what innovation to implement into the organization. Timing is of the essence here; management must know who, when, where, and why these factors are needed.

For instance, the resources, when to implement new technology in the business. Who to hire and fire? What product or service is suitable for different groups of students. What is the cost of a hired job and Job done? Why use hire technology and education programs?

After implementing the necessary resources, management then determines the process to transform inputs from resources to the products and services. Consequently, the Blackboard system allows long-distance students to learn using student portals. Some online universities tailor the materials or courses suitable to their specific curriculum to give a competitive edge over their competitors. Also, the processes enable students to advanced technologies such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets. It is impeditive that the online education industries get it right since its disruptive innovative strategy could be an epic failure or success, which directly affects branding and profit margin. The target audience is the crucial element here.

Resources Technology (computer, laptop, smartphone)    +   Process (student portal, blackboard, customize curriculum)

=   Profit Formula (profit margin, reach a target goal

Online education architecture is modular because its products and services work together to maximize the target goals. Many universities specialize their online education programs to include courses that can easily be integrated into students' busy work schedules. For example, Harvard Business School Online structure the course in 'bite-sized' modules that can be completed approximately 6 to 10 hours weekly. Also, the program has an inclusive structure, one that enables students on various levels to achieve a diploma, certificate, or degree. Hence, remove barriers such as ethnicity, race, age, or country.
