AND THE LIGHT WITHIN

Action & Adventure BookRix GmbH & Co. KG81371 Munich

CHAPTER ONE

     LOST

Darkness has covered the entire world, killing, and destroying everything in its path. Putting everything out of misery, darkness, and despair with any humans who had a little bit of light and hope within out of existence. Although Darkness killed all of those who had lights within their hearts, souls, and minds three people even more powerful arose out of the ashes. They were anointed to come against him and destroy him for the last time. The names of these three heroes were called Shepherds by the Oracles, there were names Will Cornerstone, Matilda, and Willow Règne in other words Chosen, Vanquishers. Matilda with her little sister Willow are Vanquishers while Will Cornerstone is Chosen.

All three were assembled by the Oracles whose names were Ms. Chemin, Ms. Verite, and Ms. Vie which means Way, Truth, and Life in English. Outside it was pouring cats and dogs, and it was windy that same afternoon. Mrs. Claire Règne Willow's and Matilda's mother was waiting for their arrival indoors in their gigantic mansion from the park with their father.

Matilda and young Willow came home together with their father after he picked them up at their school basketball outside court. When all sudden, thick darkness covered the State of Arizona with lightning. The strongest wind began lifting cars in the road and trucks and toasting it into a further distance that exploded into flames.

Matilda, Willow, and Chosen, their father saw Darkness coming on their way with the most vicious laughter.

"Matilda? Willow? On the count of two, I want both of you to jump out of the car, all right?" Chosen shouted.

Once again, Chosen Règne was the wealthiest archaeologist and a man of God who faithfully served Jesus in His truth and holiness.

"Papa, I am scared." Willow quivered. "So do I, Papa. And what about if we don't make it?" Matilda shivered.

"Fear not, my daughters. Everything will be fine," Chosen added.

After parking the car amid the road, Darkness was getting closer and closer to the car where they were in.

"Okay, one-yeah" Chosen grunted.

Just because he pushed his daughters out of the car before, Darkness would lift the car and toast into the unknown forest which exploded into flames.

"No, papa!" Willow screamed.

Matilda was dumbfounded at what is happening to their father with Darkness coming after their lives too, Willow who was alert about Darkness yanked her elder sister's hand and fleet with her as fast as she could in the thickest forest. They ran and hid in the tree trunk dark's hole although Darkness was looking up and down for them but could not see them.

"Papa? Papa is dead?" Matilda blinked.

"Yes, Mati, I guess so, come on, let's go home," Willow cried.

Both girls broke into lamentation and cried their eyes out for their father.

Seven years later, Matilda and Willow miss their father. Their mother was encouraging them to be strong for her altogether with their departed father. Although Claire was acting strong but was heartbroken and desperate to see her husband even if it was just for a few seconds. At least it was very impossible for Claire till she said farewell to her daughters and left them both in Matilda’s room that late afternoon.

Chosen was gone and was gone forever to be with Jesus in heaven. All afternoon up to that late evening it was still windy and rainy thunder crashing for hours. Matilda was in her bedroom lying peacefully. She was looking at the ceiling, and at that point, she heard a knock on her door.
