Each of us was destined to have the ultimate life. But for many of us, that dream was taken away in the heat of battle. We had the privilege of serving our countries, getting the best training possible, living and fighting alongside some of the best friends we will ever have. Destined for greatness and proving it everyday in the field of battle. Until those exact situations we were so proud to be a part of, doing our sacred duty, led us to injury, PTSD. Sometimes worse.
It left many of us broken.
How to get back from that remains a mystery to many.
But what if there is a way out? What if there is a way to reclaim our lives and not just live them, but indulge in them and live them to the fullest?
Over 20 years ago I was injured by a combatant hand grenade. I lay blind in the hospital, and was told that I’d never see again. Or if I’m lucky, I’ll see through one eye but not for long. The nightmares told me a much scarier story.
And the surgeries were excruciatingly painful.
But I made it out of there, I reclaimed my life, travelled the world, built businesses, moved countries, and even got married and have amazing kids.
It took me over 20 years to understand what I did and how I made it through.
And when I did, I immediately realised that I could help many more.
I’m not a psychologist, doctor, guru, or any other “professional”.
I just want to share my story, my tips, and my step-by-step action plan that anyone can use to build the life of their dreams.
This book is dedicated to the warriors with PTSD. and the people who love them.

Why Read this Book on Overcoming PTSD?
Imagine that the looks of fear, worry, and even pity are gone from their eyes. Instead of tip-toeing around you or changing plans to accommodate your condition, your loved ones are comfortable living life. You are too.
The hiding, the silence, the stigma is gone. Perfection? Hardly. Anyone dealing with PTSD will probably always have some residual symptoms. Yet, there is hope, and there are answers.
Can you imagine having a solid, loving relationship with your intimate partner? Can you imagine being a contributing, respected, and even celebrated member of society? When you can imagine reclaiming your life, getting back into society, and perhaps even traveling, things can change for you.
What's in it for me?
First, what's not in it for you? The goal of this book is not to claim to eliminate PTSD. That's probably impossible. Those of us suffering from this condition are likely to live with it for the rest of our lives.
What, then, is in it for you? No matter where we are mentally and physically, it is possible to overcome and manage the debilitating effects of PTSD.
