I have not separated the art grants from the business startup grants. Some of these sources can be used for both categories. You will have to read through the requirements of each source and donor. The funding resources contained in this booklet are for Artists, Entrepreneurs, Startup businesses, and students. All funding information contained in this booklet is in U.S. state order. International sources are not in any particular order, except being in the “international” category. Some of the sources can be used by both, U.S. citizens and other Countries. Also there are websites that may advertise the same funding source. You will find that a few of the funding resources are exclusive, and some have flexibility and are open to anyone who meet their standards. Please read each funder’s criteria for eligibility. If there is a “faq” sheet on the website, be sure to read that info before contacting any grant or funding organization. Be aware that a funding source has the ability and the right to change or deny any applicant at their discretion, some requirements are stricter than others. All the info I have gathered for this booklet is current to the best of my knowledge, as of the date this book was copyrighted, November 1, 2012. Make sure you check through every source in each state and internationally. Some of the resources cover all U.S. states and can even serve Canada and other countries. There are some international sources that have offices in the United States and will serve U.S. citizens.
