Beschreibung

Grace is the first volume of the Exposition 0n 2 Corinthians 13:14. The passage is always Apostle Paul's farewell message in his Epistles, and many believers have adopted it as the benediction in every gathering. However, how many really understand the word or concept of grace? True, it has many sides to it, but how many really understands it as part of the three lovely words or concepts or characters that Apostle Paul always want believers to live by and in?

This book reveals Grace as one of the three blessings that everybody should have and is available to everyone.

Dedication

This book is dedicated to everyone who desire deeper levels of grace than they operate presently.

What is Grace

On several occasions, the word ‘grace’ is use in place of unmerited favor. It is an unmerited favor. But deeper than that, grace is found to be at work in every believer. Paul, the apostle of grace, as I like to call him, in most cases where he use the word ‘grace meant something deeper than just unmerited favor. In January 2015, the Holy Spirit hit me with a new dimension of grace and He was as plain as this:

Grace is the launcher of a man into the fullness of God. The fullness of God is the God-kind of life which is eternal life; the limitless, loving, great, dominion, gracious life.

Grace is what brings a man to the starting point of the God kind of life and what sustains him. It brings man into the person of the physical image of God. It transforms people into the God the Father that the world can see; it continuously transforms people into the person of the Son of God.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

Paul had a perfect arrangement of the sequence of occurrences. The first has to be ‘the grace’ and it is not just the grace of anybody but of the Lord Jesus Christ. Second is the love of God and the third is the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. But why the sequential arrangement?

The Godhead is three persons in one – the trinity of God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. As discussed in my book titled The Trinity of the Three, God the Father is the soul of the Godhead, the Son and the Holy Spirit are His contacts with the physical and spiritual realms respectively. The Son, being the physical image of the Godhead, is the pointer to the person of God; He is the prototype of God, a sample of God. And since man is, for most parts, a physical person, Jesus is the first contact that everyone has to God. He is the way, the truth and the life, and no one reaches the heart of the Godhead except through Christ. (John 14:6)

The grace is of the Lord Jesus Christ because He is the beginning of the life that God wants to give to every man; He is the beginning of God’s new creation. (Revelation 3:14) Jesus is the launcher into the new life that God gives. The grace is the access code a man is granted in order to be launched into the fullness of God.

…the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ … be with you all.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (John 1:14,16 & 17)

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:1-5)

The Lord Jesus, by the reason of the grace, brings every man to the starting point of a life like God in any aspect of choice. ‘Aspect of choice’ because you cannot be graced in a sphere that you are not in favor with. (This will be discussed later in the book)

Now, the love of the Father is what the Father is all about. Christ is grace, that is what He is all about. God is love; that is what He is also all about.

It is amazing to read that Paul prays that the love of God be with a person. The love of the greatest Father and Friend I have ever known?! It is out of this world; it is of millions of millions wows!

Christ launches a man into the fullness of God who is love and He is also with him through the transformation into the life of God – the life of love. A man is being transformed into the image of God by experiencing the image of whom he is being transformed into. You become love by experiencing love in action in your own life.

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. (Ephesians 1:15-23)

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
