This book is dedicated to everyone who wants to drive change. These people I support with passion and enthusiasm, because only through drastic change can this world evolve.

However, I also support people who are looking for answers – answers to questions like: Who am I? What am I supposed to do here on earth? Why does this or that hit me in life?

With this book I would like to address and motivate especially the young generation, because they will steer our planet for years to come. And that's what they need to be trained for.

At the same time, I speak to the older, more mature generation. They have experienced many difficulties in their lives, and now the time has come to say goodbye to old patterns and perceptions and to take a fresh path.

On this path, the new HEALTH & WEALTH Institute, which is described in chapter 4, helps both – younger and older generations.

Our financial system is on fire. We've lived beyond our means – we humans, our companies, governments, banks, and other institutions.

We looked too much into the eyes of the golden calf and let ourselves be seduced by its golden glow. But it's "pretense", not "being".

Many people suspect that things cannot go on like this. The central banks have turned on the money faucet at full blast after the last financial crisis, which could have pushed the global economy into an abyss. Now what?

They wanted to achieve economic growth. They have succeeded – in the USA and in Europe. But what's the price? The price is paid by the people - as always. Because the central banks can't go back. They've inflated the markets to such an extent that the consequence can only be a gigantic correction. They drove the business leaders mad with cheap money – like the German company "Bayer" and the Monsanto purchase. Many companies have incurred huge debts, as did the central banks, which have bought government bonds that are never repaid.

It is only a question of time, when the first central bank will declare bankruptcy. And then a chain reaction will occur. The central banks are aware of this. They know about the danger and do everything possible to avoid it. But in my eyes, it can no longer be avoided. Actually, it is even intended from a higher point of view, because the systems have to crash so that we humans can rethink our existence.

That's what it's all about today – rewiring our minds. We can no longer look at the material world in the same way as before. Too much dirt and negative energy is contained in it or in our view of it – In our mind. The time has come for us to develop a new perspective.

I said before: "We human beings are the ones who suffer, i.e. the price is paid by the people". Yes, but we're the lucky ones, too. For we will accomplish this change in our thinking and will be able to cope with it. It's going to cost a lot. We will give up established ways of thinking. We may also give up material things. We will give up our perception that only the material equals security. We will give up our EGO thinking.

We are going through a tremendous change – material, emotional, spiritual, and in other ways. But we will emerge from it as new people or as people with a new point of view and therefore on a higher level of consciousness.

The parties responsible for the state of our world, such as central bank presidents, politicians, bank executives, business leaders, big industrialists, will not experience this upheaval as a happy one. They initiated the upcoming change through their past decisions, but they do not want or accept the transformation. They're going to try to do everything in their power to prevent it; however, they will not succeed.

It's no longer 5 minutes to 12:00, the clock has already struck 12. But we don't have to be afraid. We must not meet the future with terror and fear, but with joy. For we are liberated from the rat race, our way of thinking, and our focus on the material.

There is already a solution on the horizon to support people on their new path and to lead them to new shores. It is a new house that will accompany people on their way through change, that will give them security, that will connect them with their inner being, that will reveal their potential and talents, and that will lead them into a new inner world and build a strong foundation within them.

This institute will accompany people on their way through change and thus through difficult times. We will give them inner strength. We will connect them with their internal world and with the big picture. We will show them that they are creators and can generate their own money.

All people will now go through this change. Our systems in particular are currently undergoing a radical transformation. The entire systems – the political and economic system, the financial system, the education system, the health system – are on the verge of profound change. Because the shift in our consciousness and our way of thinking concerns our entire systems: ways of life, behaviors, view about money, health, education, and personal relationships. It is a revolution, or simply: evolution.

This leads to a new form of society that has not yet been known and experienced; one that consists of togetherness, happiness and lightness, and love for one another, instead of opposition. There, a higher consciousness exists.

I'm here to help people change their mindset. Our way of thinking in relation to our life and the values and ideas associated with it is antiquated and requires censorship and correction. We have already arrived at a different level of consciousness compared to where we were ten years ago. Neither money and consumption and the associated search for recognition, love, and joy nor the desire to escape from fear and loneliness will determine our lives, but a new inner awareness will guide us and make people happy.

Only few people ask themselves the question of "why":

Why do these things happen in my life?

Why is something going wrong with my life?

Why do I have burnout or cancer?

Why is my friend or brother more successful than me?

Behind everything there is an explanation and a lesson.

The upheaval was not easy for me. I was reminded in a pretty hard way to change my life. First, I had to give up our family's happiness, our house and lifestyle in Miami and return to Germany. Then I had to learn my lesson by making risky investments and gambling my money away. Today, after 15 years, I am thankful for the lesson I have received and learnt. I can help other people avoid those traps in their lives.

Even the upheaval among many people – politicians, business leaders – is not easy. They all hold on to their posts until the end, until they are stabbed in the back and crash. Letting go earlier might be a softer landing. But the EGO wants to continue to play its role and be successful. But if the soul desires another way, conflict arises. And it can have dramatic consequences, such as depression, burnout or even suicide. I want to save people from that.

But when I see people holding on to their positions, jobs and attitudes about life and money, which they have to give up, I don't see a soft landing, but a similar hard, shaking landing as in my case.

You're wondering, "What's Rafael trying to achieve with this book?" I want to show that life is not straightforward and that there are several possibilities at every junction. No matter which way we go, at some point we come back to the path we were destined to take in life. And even if this path has led through abysses, negativity, and illegality, we can always get back on track, provided we want to.

I want to show other people how to find their personal path. Our life paths go away from egoism and towards the common good. The time for that is now.

We live in a gigantic shift.

Chapter 1 – My Life Path

It was a gray Sunday in November 1952, when a boy was born.

His name was Rafael. His middle name: Detlef.

This boy grew up in the time of the reconstruction and economic recovery of Germany after the Second World War. People were busy earning money to build a new future for themselves. The war and its consequences as well as the currency reform had created a strong will among the people to develop something new as quickly as possible. Of course, emotions and love also played a role: people got married, often because the first child was on its way. So, children were conceived and born. The parents were devoted to them, but at the same time, they were busy setting up and growing businesses and earning money.

That's how it was in our family. My father started his own business as a private detective. My mother helped him set up the business. Money played a big role from the beginning. At first, it wasn't there. Our purchases at the milkman, bakery, and butcher were put on the slate.
