INTRUDUCTION

This book is about women all over the world which I am part. Growing up I saw so many women in my place how they were enslaved, maltreated and leaving in fear even in their own home.

When maturity and experienced begin to sets in and haven travelled to some other parts of the world, I began to see different women exhibiting different kinds of attitude. I see some women ready to give their life for their home while some others are even assisting to pull down their homes, not minding the consequences, some even want to be the man in the house.

Many women are suffering in ignorance without even realizing it.

Also, I have seen women watching other women doing great things and wished they could do similar thing, when you however want to talked them into it, you see them changing the topic, by implication, they are even not ready to take up the challenge. So many do not know how or why they were created neither do they even know the power available for them.

This is what This book is talking about , after carrying out an in-dept study bout women, how they were created and what they were created for, I decided to write on it so that through it they can learn and go out there to make a different, because I believe with the vast knowledge I have gathered, I am in a good position to write about this topic. Isaw how God has changed my negative confession to positive one. I realized that there is greatness in every woman, so it is time we show case that greatness to all around us ,bearing in mind nothing is impossible. See yourself climbing great height, reaching the unimaginable, doing the unthinkable and breaking New ground. You can do it, because that special ability is in you.

So it is time we come out of that cage and enslavement mentality and go out there to use the power that is in us. But you cannot be that without being connected to the God of all possibilities, also you cannot build your home without His help Ps 127:1-2 “Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat for he grants sleep to those he loves.”

The woman has always been thought of by the world as a complex and a never-well-understood personality. Many writers have left the world wondering if a woman is worth given any place of responsibility as it concerns the development of mankind. Brenda however weaves practical life situations with the Christian experience to expatiate on who the woman is in this piece. She begins with elucidating on the potentials of a woman right from the time of her creation in the garden. Her explanation on the record-breaking capacity of the woman is fantastic.

I have not read any book in recent times that has handled the topic on the womanhood of the woman as this one. It’s a must read for every woman who is set to invade her world with her potentials. This book is so glaring, it does not project the woman against the role of the man. She skillfully places the woman in the influencing position of who the woman is and should be in the society. The woman is looked at from the total, all-encompassing angle of a mother, wife; colleague, neighbor and so on.

Her counsel to the males in this work leaves me wondering if she’s been male before. It clarifies to the man exactly that which he needs to be told about the world of the woman. This is unerringly the book for this generation; when women seem to abandon the primary responsibilities of why God had created them and rather stage a competition with the males, then it’s because they do not know who they truly are. Relevant Bible texts as well as citations have also been implored for this Book. This book will reveal to you mind-blowing facts about who the woman is. Set your heart to be blessed as you explore the world of the woman-record-breaker.

CHAPTER ONE THE WOMAN

It occurred to me more imperatively recently, that the work women all over the world are doing; is with extra ordinary power, with greater emphases that there is nothing a woman cannot do if she sets her heart to do it. This notch continued silently until one day the word came to me which forms the title of this book Woman as a Record Breaker. Consequently, I had a growing need to write a book concerning the power of a woman with the help of the Holy Spirit.

WOMAN: What did God say concerning the woman and how did she come into being?

In the beginning the Bible says God made man in His own image, but how did He make man and how did He make the woman? Genesis 1:27 “so God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them”.

Going by this Bible verse it is needless to say that, whether man or woman, we all were created in the very image of God. For that reason we are all equal before God. Chapter two throws more explanation on how God created them. The Bible is written in such a unique style, especially concerning the inspired story of the creation, it first gives the summarizing statement of creation before going further to break it down, hence, it presents a more vivid explanation of the Genesis 1:27 in Genesis 2:7 the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being.

If you ponder the above verse carefully, the Bible does not talk about the woman yet; it only talks of the man. This implies that the Lord had not yet created the woman. One may ask “why did God not create man and the woman at the same time?” Well, He is the All knowing God and He is the God that makes everything in his perfect way. However, let’s consider how God made the woman and why he made her.

Genesis 2:20b-23 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep: and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and closed up the place with flesh. 22 then the Lord God made woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. 23 The man said, this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman for she was taken out of man.

Here comes the question why did God not create the woman in the same way he created the man? Why did he create the woman in a different way not from the dust?

Before God created the woman there was obviously no suitable helper for the man, so God wanted to make a suitable helper, and this awaited-for personality could not have ended up being such a usual one, but someone that had to be really appropriate to occupy the position of what a woman represents. One who could be there to fill in the gap, take the work, and be there for the man as an amiable partner, comforter and all the man needed. That role had to be taken by somebody who could be strong enough to shoulder the load and burden; this must be exactly what was in the mind of God while creating the woman therefore; He created the woman to be distinct from the man. The help God was creating for the man in the woman had to be an apt helper in all ways, being capable to meet up with the demands of taking care of the man and not becoming a burden. All of these portray God as the All-knowing personality, having a grasp of the end from the very beginning; He made all things perfect (including the woman).

So God created the man from the dust and the woman from the man’s ribs. No wonder the woman is strong, overwhelmingly caring and bears all things, she can do all things and can never stop at nothing, that is why you can never see a woman so weak that she cannot stand by her man, that is where their super natural power comes from.

From the beginning the woman was not created to be enslaved, she was created to be loved, cared for and to be respected by her man as a pertinent, apposite, fitting helper to him. When she is loved and cared for that is when she brings out the best in her filling her home with joy and happiness.

Let me drop this as personal counsel to the male folks. The female is not to be treated as a slave in her own house by you, if treated as one; you will not even want to stay in your own house. She will see you as a boss; she will live in her home with fear and agonies. Her emotions will hurt and she will not freely demonstrate her real self, don’t be surprised what you will have in return, you will have nothing better than an unhappy and a petulant home. Never hurt a woman's feeling or you get what you don’t want. Try a woman when she is happy she can sacrifice her very self for the man she loves. When a woman gets tired of what you are forcing her to do, brother, be ready to receive the consequences. If you want to see your home filled with joy, make your woman happy and I bet you, you will never regret it. Well, this book is about the woman and wouldn’t address the men for too long.

Every woman should always consider that God created the man first, this naturally places the man as the head. The woman should never forget this fact, even though we are equal before God, everyone has his or her role to play. The woman was actually made for the man and not the other way round. The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:8-9 for man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit to your husband as to the lord. Many men quote this verse to enslave their wives, hence; despising the reality of the fact that whatever you do with obligation sooner or later you get tired of.

The woman should be submissive to her husband with love, always reminiscing she was created to be the man's helper. Why did Adam say in Genesis 2:23 …this is the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman? That was because she was taken from the man, a reality he confessed immediately he saw her. This elucidates the specialty of the woman and the very important role she plays in the life of man. It is amazing that the woman was the last creature the Lord God created after which He rested from all His work. The woman was therefore a wrap up of creation, every good stored up must have been used to build the woman. What wonder God has made as the woman!

Having reflected on how God fashioned the woman and the reason why she was created -to play a very important role in the world, permit me to say that woman is the best; a very important gift that God gave to the whole world. Now let's see the role of a woman.
