By Joseph P Hradisky Jr

A poem from Iron Tooth to his wife Air Stream

my tongue aches for the taste of your sweet nectar

flowing from your wet lips so tender

I inhale the scent of the ages for which man

has always known the beauty of a woman

It is by scent we live, by scent we touch

by scent we recognize those who we are connected to

It is a scent which the fingers know

for which the tongue does desire

for the lips to kiss as the nose breathes deeply of

it is about who we are and how we feel for each other

throughout eternity there is nothing but the scent of our beings

from the beginning of time till it ends

it is all that we shall know

Cayuta Lake

In terms of size Cayuta Lake was not very large. In truth it fit the nick name of little lake by all the residence of the area. At the northern, and southern, ends of the lake are swampy areas with several cottages on each side at the southern end. Most, of the cottages on the south western side, are a part of Cool Lea Camp. As well as the Fontainebleau Inn which boasts of very elegant rooms with spectacular views of the lake. A place very noted for weddings and such.

And the views, of the lake, are spectacular. For the most part at least. Just not this night. Dark storm clouds made the moonless night more dark than normal. Except for the constant barrage of lightning flashing all through the boiling skies. Then the scene went from overly bright to ever darker. At the northern end of Cayuta Lake, just at the edge of the swampy area on the right as one faced the lake, an even darker shadow seemed to flow. Nor did it flow with the ever-changing wind. Sometimes it would follow the wind while at other times would go against it. But it definitely seemed to have a life of its own.

That is until the earth was struck, nearby, by a very large lightning bolt. The darkness was torn apart with light and sound. Yet, despite the immensity of it, there could be seen no damage to the ground anywhere near the strike zone. What there was was a young woman. Or, better put, a woman who looked young if she were human. There was nothing human about her. Starting with the golden blond wings to the energy radiating from her. This spoke of purity. And nothing else. One could try to describe her like she had golden blond hair, golden eyes, perfectly tanned skin which was all over for she wore no clothes. Or one could tell about her height of five feet five inches not coming even close to the illusion she was so much taller or shorter. All depending upon the viewer’s internal sight. Outside of that any who saw her could only comment on how pure she was. Even when, years later after seeing other angels, the viewer would tell about how so much purer she was than all the others. As if she was the true definition of an angel. And many would argue in truth she was the very definition. Even her husband, of three hundred years, would say so though his opinion was fairly tainted because they had been married for so long and were still going strong despite the opposition to it.

Their marriage was violently, at times, opposed by both the forces of light and dark. Both Heaven, and Hell, made it their mission to destroy what these two had. But, despite all their best efforts, they both have epically failed to do so.

The young woman, Anghjulu Micciche, looked at the dark shadow which had now come to a stop at the edge of the swamp. “Husband?”

For a moment the dark shadow did nothing but then began to rise. Soon it had taken on the shape of a man. There was no describing the man except it could be clearly seen as a man. He too was completely naked which made his hard shaft the very evidence of it being male. Also, when he spoke, it could be clearly heard as the voice of a man. This was Sebastian Bhoglaich. “Wife?”

Sebastian walked quickly to her and kissed her as if he had not seen her in a thousand years. Which wasn’t even close to the truth. At least three times a week they met here so they could be with each other for a few hours before they had to return to their own duties. She would go back to Heaven and he would go back to hell.

When the kiss ended Anghujulu looked at her husband. “Why did you call for me? I thought we were going to meet tomorrow?”

Sebastian smiled a sad smile. “He has arrived.” Was all he said.

It was enough for the startled look on her face. “The chosen has finally arrived. That means he has already gone through hell, and back, successfully.”

Sebastian nodded. “He has. I followed his path of destruction till he left. There was no stopping him despite all their best efforts.”

“So what about you? Didn’t they demand you to fight him?” She asked.

“They did, and I just laughed at them. Told them they had been fools to start this whole affair to begin with. Now that they have they will have to suffer for their stupidity. I will not fight the human mage. Not now or ever. In fact I am here to tell you we have a journey to start which will take us to him.”

“So, as you had told me once a long time ago, we are going to join him in his quest to destroy the dark tower.”

“We are. I chose this night for the power of the elementals is very strong. Very, very, strong.” Sebastian kissed her once again as he took hold of her breasts.

For a moment she allowed herself to enjoy the warmth of his hands on her breasts then she stepped back. “What does this have to do with us?”

Sebastian smiled as he looked around. Then, whatever he was looking for, he spotted. “It is okay for you to come out.”

From the trees a dark brown sprite appeared. An elemental of darkness. Right behind was another as green as the blade of a new born leaf. An elemental of light. Both looked at Sebastian as if waiting for an order. This wasn’t long in the coming. Sebastian signaled them to come closer. Which they did without a moment’s hesitation.

“Now.” Was all Sebastian said.

The two sprites joined hands and began to chant in a language so old there was no naming it. Only it had been around before anything else, other than God. When they stopped chanting they touched, first, Anghjulu before touching Sebastian. When the two elementals touched her she felt a strange flow of electric fire through her. When this passed it was replaced by an overwhelming sense of freedom. Nothing like she had ever felt before. She looked at her husband who seemed to be only concentrating on the two sprites.

“As was my agreement you two are free to pursue your lives together. Since it is with the blessing of God there is no one, and nothing, which can take it away or destroy the love you two have for each other. May you go in peace to live a long life full of hugs, kisses, and love.” Sebastian said as he touched both sprites’ heads. Then they were gone.

“What just happened?” Anghjulu asked him.

“In return for their freedom they have given us ours.”

“Meaning?” She did feel so very much different but had no idea what this meant.

“It means we do not have to go anywhere we do not choose to go. You do not have to return to Heaven and I do not have to return to hell. The power of this night, along with truth and understanding, made their magic so much stronger it could sever the holds which had been placed on us. This magic is so strong, and blessed by God, there is nothing which can undo it.”

Free…it was a thought Anghjulu never thought she would have. Especially with her husband. Yet, as she thought of the incredible possibilities, she felt there was a problem near at hand which might affect it all. Turning toward the lake she spoke. Not in words but in sound. Pure, simple, and light. Suddenly the water began to boil as her voice spread across the surface. From the black depths came a half dozen serpents. Not Dragons but their sadistic, evil, cousins. They were the larger size of their namesakes. Snakes. Forked tongues darted, from venom coated jaws, to taste of the air. An especially black one wore a look of hatred as well as anger for being brought out of hiding before they had wanted to.

“I have been keeping an eye on them since they arrived here.” Sebastian move to stand next to his wife, partner, not in front of her as most human males would do. The two were equals. Neither was better, or inferior, to the other. God had made them this way and, at least for these two, tried to ensure it stayed that way. “They arrived shortly after me thinking they had come without me knowing they were here. Sad such scum could ever think they were so much better than everyone else.”

“I would ask ‘what do they want’ but already know the answer.” Anghjulu said softly to her mate before turning her attention to the serpents. "Vile beast I will give you but one chance to leave while you can.”

The perfect black serpent moved ahead of the others. “You may think you are giving us a chance, but I will definitely not give you any. By morning I will have both your heads as a present to my master.”

Anghjulu smiled. “Yes, you were never strong enough to stand on your own. There will always be one who is your master. How weak, and pathetic, this makes you.”

“You will not think how weak we are when you are dying as I cut your head from your body.” As soon as the serpent spoke all six attacked.

For several microseconds the two just stood as the serpents came at them. Four were heading at Sebastian while the other two attacked Anghjulu. This would be a huge, and fatal, mistake for them. Anghjulu began to sing softly but the words grew in power with each passing second. Again they were sounder than anything else. The response was very quick. A dozen lightning bolts, six for each serpent attacking her, struck the oncoming beasts in different parts of their body. The interesting part was the bolts seemed to have no affect on the serpents. They didn’t even slow down.

As one the two struck the angel with a force which would make the winds of a hurricane seem meek in comparison. For the blink, of an eye, nothing happened. Then the night lit up as the two serpents exploded into nothingness. Any death, other than the one they received, would have sent them back to hell for a period of time before being able to get out again. Not now. As the last pieces, of them, vanished they were gone forever. Anghjulu turned toward her husband to see how he was fairing.

What she saw made her smile. The four serpents were hanging from Sebastian. One from each bicep with the other two hanging from his breasts. She could not see his nipples and she envied the beasts. She should be the one biting those sweet nubs on his strong chest. Then she noticed he was laughing. Not a meek or faked one but a very hearty, all out, laugh. She knew her husband was strong, but she could not figure out why he found the situation so amusing. Soon she would.

Sebastian did not move but allowed the serpents to strike where they wanted. The impact would have downed a lesser being. Especially a human one. It had no affect on him at all. Nor did the pain, as they sunk their fangs into him, was any greater. In fact a human baby could hit harder while in their sleep. The whole attack was so epically pathetic it made him laugh. This went on for several minutes as he tracked the path of the venom swimming through his body. What the serpents didn’t know was the path, of the venom, was following a course set by his body. Definitely not going where it, or the serpents, wanted. Nor did it go very far. Slowly, the farther it traveled, the more Sebastian’s body devoured the vile liquid. Soon there was none left in his body.

Suddenly Sebastian stopped laughing. With his right hand he grabbed the serpent chewing on his left arm. As he was holding the beast he looked over at his wife. “Too bad it wasn’t your mouth biting my nipples.”

Anghjulu didn’t bother to reply but just stuck her tongue out at him. This made Sebastian laugh again as he ripped the serpent from his left bicep. He held the beast up, so he could look it in the eyes. So the beast could look into his eyes. “Today you are the lucky one. Today you will go back to the ones who sent you with a warning to pass on to them. Tell them I am free of my chains. Tell them I defied them with the chains on, but they have no clue to what I am capable of with them off. Tell them they will if they come after me again. Now go and deliver the message.”

Sebastian hurled the serpent far out into the lake where the water seemed to rise up to devour the foul beast. As soon as the water settled, to a mirror surface again, Sebastian ripped the serpent from his right bicep. This he held up in front of his face again before biting the head off. Soon the rest, of the serpent, followed the head. Nor did it take very long before the other two followed. When he finished he turned to his wife who had a look of disgust on her face. “What?”

“If you think I am going to kiss those lips before you take a shower you have another thing coming.” Anghjulu smiled the whole time she said this.

Sebastian laughed deeply at his sweet partner before taking hold of her arm to bring her in close. Soon his lips were firmly planted on her fun lips. Nor did she put up much of a resistance either. Instead she wrapped her arms around his neck to pull him so much closer. So that his chest was pressed tightly against her breasts. A tingle of expectation raced through her body as she reached down to take his hard shaft into her hand. Slowly she stroked him as she deepened the kiss.

He was about to lay her down to enter her sweetness when a small sound caught his attention. Just a tiny pop. Quickly he turned to see another small bubble break the surface of the mirror calm lake water. “Shit…”

Anghjulu didn’t ask what the matter was but immediately went into action. In the blink of an eye she was fully dressed in golden battle armor. In one hand was a long javelin while in her left had she held a dark blade handle. The sword was still sheathed, for the moment. When she was satisfied with her equipment she looked to her husband. He, too, was now fully dressed for battle. Sebastian’s armor was as black as pitch. All of it. So well did the entire equipment blend it was very hard to tell what he really had. In addition it looked as though the armor was moving. Not just in the way of deceptiveness from the blackness playing tricks on the eye but as if the armor was living. Which, in truth, it was. His armor was made from the last enemy he had devoured. In this case it was the three serpents. He would have them till he killed a new enemy, or the armor was so badly damaged as to be unusable.

For a moment Sebastian just waited. But only for a moment. “I would really stay away from here if I were you…”

Slowly a dark shade rose from the lake. Sebastian recognized it was a high ranked demon lord but had never seen this one before. Without turning to his wife he asked. “Any clue?”

Anghjulu just shrugged. “Does it really matter?”

Sebastian smiled. “Not really. So do you want first dibs, or do we do rock, paper, scissors?”

Anghjulu Smiled. “You are just so funny dear.”

“I am at that.” Sebastian was smiling as he strode toward the demon lord.

“…but you are not me.” The demon finally spoke as Sebastian reached the waters edge. “Ever since I took over this section of the realm I have heard nothing but your name. Which didn’t really bother me until I found out how you kept meeting up with the angel bitch over there. I was on my way to put a stop to the meetings when I heard you were planning to leave the underworld forever. Still not a big deal until my servant came back to me with your warning. Now it is time to put you back into your place and show everyone who the real boss is.”

Sebastian thought about this for a moment. “Your first problem is that I was never a part of this place as you say. Never there as well as never in heaven. Can’t stand either place. Where I truly belong is by my wife’s side for eternity…”

“Oh you will be. For as soon as I take you down then I will bring her along as well. Just another way to torture you back into behaving.” The demon lord was smiling as he said all this. “And, just to let you know, I am Markle.”

“Markle.” Sebastian thought about this name. “Well that just sucks…”

Anghjulu caught Sebastian’s attention. “What’s the matter dear can not figure a good, sarcastic, remark for the name?”

“Absolutely.” Sebastian replied. “So I will just have to move on.” He turned to demon lord Markle. “Moving on…”

A whisper of wind floated to Sebastian’s ears. “Need any help sweetie?”

Sebastian smiled. Sometimes she was so cute it made, not dropping everything to make love to her, almost impossible to do. Fuck that noise. Full out, raunchy, sex would be more accurate. When she wanted sex she was already on fire. Apparently, this little interruption was pissing her off by making her wait to get off. He would gloriously pay for it later.

“Did you really need to ask?” Sebastian felt his wife come to stand next to him. He was about to say more when several bolts, of lightning, struck the water around the demon lord.

Demon lord Markle smiled. “Missed.”

“No.” Was all Anghjulu said as she waited.

Soon the water started shaking. As if it were some beast trying to shake something off it’s back. Suddenly a loud howl ripped the night apart before the water became calm again. “I never miss what I am aiming at.”

“Did you really think a water sprite, even a king size one, was going to help you?” Sebastian drew his sword. It was as dark as the rest of his equipment. And, yet, there seemed to be a tantalizing glint of light running along the edges. With this in hand he started toward the demon lord again. And, like the demon lord, he did not sink below the surface. Without looking he knew Anghjulu was making her way toward the demon’s right. Sebastian had to smile. There was no tactic being used. They just did all things well together.

The disappointing part of the Markle encounter was it simply wasn’t all that great. It took the pair less than a minute to have the demon lord disarmed and helpless. Nor would they forget the look of shock he wore to his death. Which wasn’t as quick as the battle. Not even close.

When Sebastian had finished with Markle he drew a large circle with his sword. Once he was done he moved into the circle to smash his fist into the ground. “Hear me those in all the realms, levels, of the underworld. I am leaving. Do not try to come for me. You will get the same thing as Markle here. And, if you piss me off by attacking me or my wife too many times, you will pay dearly for it.”

For almost fifteen minutes Sebastian waited for a response. When none came he turned to Anghjulu. “They may not be answering now but they will keep trying.”

Anghjulu took her husbands hand to place it over her right breast. Her armor was gone so he could touch her naked flesh. “I am surprised those above have not come after me. They know what is happening as well as the underworld.”

Sebastian pinched her nipple before leaning close to suck on it. Anghjulu enjoyed this for a moment before asking. “What now?”

Sebastian nipped her nipple. “Sex, sex, and more sex until you are screaming for me to stop because you are cumming so much.”

Anghjulu could feel herself blushing at the comment. “I mean after that.”

“After that we make our way, as quickly as possible, to the dock at Myers Park. We are meeting the mage, Jon Tom, there to join him as he welcomes back some old friends.” Sebastian was startled when she shoved him away. “What?”

Anghjulu was no longer in the mood for sex. What the hell was this man thinking was all she could concentrate on. A mage. Probably a human one. She thought he knew better than that. Anghjulu slapped Sebastian across the face. “A mage? What the fuck are you thinking? That’s the problem you’re not…”

She had planned to say more but her mouth was covered by some very sweet lips of the man she loved. When the kiss ended Sebastian didn’t give her time to think, much less, say anything more. “This is the one who broke all the rules, as well as all the barriers, between hell and earth. And, yes, he is a mage. A human one at that but none like you have ever seen before. The big reason he broke all the rules was he had gone to hell to rescue his wife and children…”

“To try and bring them back to life no doubt.” Anghjulu said with her arms folded across her sweet breasts.

“No.” Sebastian loved the way she looked when she was angry. When she wasn’t angry. What the hell he loved the way she looked no matter what. “He rescued them because they were supposed to be in heaven not in hell. Not once did he try to bring them back to life. Nor did he allow anyone else to try either.”

Anghjulu looked at her husband in shock. “I thought the talk about that was all a bad rumor. No one can be that selfless. No one.”

“This man, John Tom, is. He is on a quest to stop the demon king from taking over all the realms. Even before the merge they tried to stop him, but it seems his aura is very powerful. What made it worse is the idea he knows it is very powerful. Knowledge is a very powerful resource.” Sebastian sighed thinking the chances of having sex tonight was so much history.

“So you trust this man?” Anghjulu was still having issues with accepting an alliance with a human mage.

“Trust him as much as I love you.” Sebastian put his hand up to keep her from talking. “Remember all those plans I told you about which would lead us to this day and our separation from the chains binding us?”

“Yes.”

“All those plans were based on the human mage. When I first heard of the rumor I knew it wasn’t and began to make plans. He is the one who made it possible for us to break away like we did. With him breaking down so many barriers it was very easy to break some which we would not have been able to break.”

“But…” Anghjulu started to speak but Sebastian sealed her lips shut with his.

“The only buts, of any concern, are yours in my hands and mine in your hands.” Sebastian leaned down to suck her right nipple into his mouth. Then, before she realized what was happening, he lifted her off her feet and buried his hardness deeply into her sweet wetness. All that came from Anghjulu was a happy sigh as soon as he was all the way in. Yet, no sooner than the sigh was out, she started moving. Again, as she always seem to do in this position, she wondered if she would ever get tired of him being in her. The answer was always the same…no.

Nancy and David

There were times when it seemed his luck was about as bad as it could get. Just a little while ago he had another run in with his most hated enemy Jonathan Tanner Thomas. His only saving grace was a woman had interfered before Jonathan could catch him. Though, right now, he had really wanted him too. So many times did that man screw his plans up. Now it was time to settle the matter once and for all. Unless he did there would be no way he could do the things he wanted. Which now led to the position he was in. Sunshine David was following a large force of demons and other night creatures. Whatever, or whoever, they were after must have been really important. He counted not one but ten third level demon lords. Way too many to waste on anything not really important. So it meant there was only one reason why they were marching in such force. Jonathan Tanner Thomas. He had been getting the feeling his enemy was pissing the demons off more than Jonathan pissed him off. That, and the fact this army had just wiped out his men without so much as a moment’s hesitation. Only it wasn’t just the fact his band had been killed. The woman, Penny Powers, had been killed also.

Sunshine David knew he wasn’t in love with her. At least for the idea of ever marrying her but he realized with the merge there might not be another choice out there for him. The good part was she had felt the same. She, too, knew they would never get married but, as she put it, he had a warm body to snuggle with at night and knew how to make her orgasm like no one else ever had. Sunshine David took pride in the idea he could make her happy. He also realized the touch of her soft body, sleeping next to him, did make his life more complete than when he did all that one nightstands before the merge. Now, with her dead, he realized he had one choice in what he had to do before anything else. He would show the demons why it was really stupid for them to have messed with his life. And they would pay very dearly too. Even though he was still pissed more at Jonathan these demons were getting very close to taking that title. And quickly too.

So Sunshine David followed. Even when they went into the depths of the risen Cayuga Lake waters. Jonathan Thomas wasn’t the only one who knew some very old secrets. Till now he had never had a use for most of what he knew. Now he did. Nor did he take the bait when the demons were hunting down human mages. He didn’t consider himself as a mage but apparently the demons had. Their ignorance cost them plenty before they stopped coming after him. Nor did he think, at any time, the army had a chance when they attacked Jeremy and those beings calling themselves the Kappa. From the start, of the battle, he could see the demon army did not find the situation they thought they would. This was their undoing. The army, led by his other enemy Jeremy, struck the demon army like a tsunami. The point, Jeremy, split the demon forces in two. Then the battle really began. Not for long though. As big as the demon army had been it took maybe an hour before the battle was over.
