Dr Cartwright ‘s passion for science was ignited at an early age, nurtured by her father, a renowned physicist who instilled in her a deep respect for the universe’s mysteries and an insatiable thirst for knowledge.

Despite her brilliance and academic achievements, Dr Cartwright ‘s personal life was marked by a profound tragedy.
