Chapter 3

Julia opened the entryway. "Sam!"

Sam grinned to her. He looked a piece battered as though he'd run a mile to arrive. Julia saw no vehicles in her parking garage, which implied he'd strolled.

"Howdy, Julia. Please accept my apologies that I'm appearing this late. It's simply... I got a handle on downright horrendous about running on you like that and I didn't believe that a basic call was sufficient to truly communicate how sorry I was."

Julia was moved by his ardent way of behaving. She'd never imagined him acting this way as a youngster. He truly had been refined into a respectable man throughout the long term.

"That is extremely sweet of you, Sam," Julia addressed him sincerely. She returned his grin with one of her own. Briefly taking a gander at Sam's attractive face diverted her from the werewolf in her kitchen and she wound up falling into a dream, envisioning what it might feel want to delicately contact that concealed stubble along his jaw.

She didn't feel remorseful about the idea - she'd fantasized about her being with Sam since they were kids. She'd generally admired him regardless of how he had treated her, and presently here he was overall a particularly kind and affable man.

"So you'll acknowledge my conciliatory sentiment?" Sam asked with trust overflowing edges of his words.
