Good day, dear furry friends,
I am the hare with the name Lio from the sacred forest and I have collected stories for you. I also have some fairy tales to tell you. The inhabitants of the Holy Forest think I am clever and mischievous because I play many tricks on the big animals. Well, you can make a judgment. And so it began many, many years ago. One day I met the eagle on his flight round the world. I watched him in the sky, his flight was majestic. If the lion was the king of the beasts, the eagle was the king of the skies, so I thought.
The heavenly majesty sat down next to me to have a rest and I was very frightened because he could easily catch me with his claws. He said to me not to be frightened and began telling me, that he can see everything from the air on his flight around the world. I was very curious and asked, if I could fly with him. He said, that he could take me just this once. So I climbed on the eagles back and holding on tight to his neck feathers, off we went. On the flight around the world, again and again, I saw the Holy Forest. Rivers and brooks crossed the forest, the sun was shining, or sometimes the rain had wetted the leaves and soil. The rivers especially fascinated me, sometimes they dry out completely or sometimes the water is rushing along through the Holy Forest forming vortexes. Sometimes the river bed is insufficient to take the waters and they burst their banks flooding the countryside, but this gives life to other things.
The brooks are not normally visible from the air, because they are small and the lush green vegetation and trees cover them. The eagle flew deeper into the woods and sat high up on a tree or sometimes he hopped into the water. I sat on the grass and listened to the water running in the brook as it flowed through the meadow. I enjoyed the cool and refreshing water before climbing back onto the eagle and flying off again. Everywhere we went I met the Holy Forest with all its animals, plants, and myths. Why don’t you check in your country to see if it has cool waters and listen to the rippling of the water as it traverses the land? Ask it to feed you and never to hurt you. You can also sing along with the water, it goes like this:
It bubbles the source
The heart beats
A creek is created
At this point
