Introduction:
The idea of writing this booklet was to document
my newly discovered formula as to betting the
Trifecta whilst keeping the wagering costs to a minimum.
When I first began betting, Thoroughbred racing was
very unsuccessful for me so I turned to Harness racing.
My usual bet being, $3 on the favourite to win, $10 on
the second favourite to place. If the odds being paid on
the second favourite were $1.30 or more I would
break even or make a small profit if the first favourite
was unsuccessful creating an up and down effect on the
Bankroll and Profit margin.
This led me to creating a motto of my betting....
"I win some, I lose some, I win some more, I lose the lot"
Have you ever wondered?
How can I be more successful with my Betting without having to spend excessive amounts
of money?
The Trifecta Bet is one way.
For a small outlay of $1, a straight First, Second and Third Bet can provide a good return if
successful but very hard to acheive even with intense handicapping skill.
There are other options to Bet the Trifecta such as Keying and Wheeling.
The cost of these bets require a larger outlay in return for a greater probability of success.
Success is the paramount outcome for any punter.
The Internet is a great source for information.
In an attempt to find other Punters secrets to success at the Trifecta, I would use various
search terms resulting in the usual, Boxing, Keying and Wheeling methods.
I was determined to find a system that did not require a lot of Handicapping
(I am a very lazy handicapper I refer to myself as an Anticapper).
Basically, eliminate the most obvious longshots, Identify the Jockeys that appear in the
top placings on a regular basis. This may also include a successful Jockey riding a longshot so
do not discard all longshots.
